Dr. Steven Coutras, MD

Dr Coutras is like the surgeons from the past! Excellent bedside manner. Caring, compassionate and patient. Explained what surgery I needed to help solve my problem with my CPAP for Sleep Apnea issues. He explained with the pictures what he found during my endoscopy and answered many questions my husband and niece had. When I had my surgery, he showed up before and helped roll me to the OR answering those last minute questions I had. After the surgery was done, he showed up again to check in to see how I was doing. I was admitted for a night to allow for some IV antibiotics and watch for complications. I got discharged with enough pain meds and thorough instructions the next day. My entire experience from the office to the OR and hospitalization were excellent.

Dr. Coutras saw me and explained everything very well. Unfortunately my insurance doesn't cover his recommended procedure.

I had a SEPTOPLASTY and bilateral inferior turbinate reduction. Dr Coutras did a good job explaining the procedure and I wish I had known about him 8 yrs prior. My procedure went great and not much pain at all. I'm now able to breathe through my nose and smell again. My whole world has changed for the best since this procedure all thanks to him. I definitely recommend him!

Waited almost an hour after being taken back to the examination room by the nurse. Then the actual appointment with him took only around ~5 mins where he was very rude and dismissive towards the care that I needed. Made a diagnosis of seasonal allergies based off a very basic questionnaire despite the fact I did not come for a diagnosis and already had an extensive medical history of yearlong allergies. I did not feel respected whatsoever and highly recommend against seeing him.

Dr Coutras is on the best doctors I’ve ever met. He took his time to explain everything in his office and in the hospital before my procedure. Held my hand in the or as I was being sedated. He even came to check on me after my procedure. I’ve NEVER been this comfortable around any doctor!! The staff was amazing as well. Very nice and super friendly. There was this one nurse that made me laugh from the time I met her until I was sedated. Being treated a human being not just another insurance claim is what I look for in a doctor. Which is very rare. I would definitely without a doubt recommend Dr Coutras!!

Dr. Coutras and staff were VERY caring and personable! They made my high functioning autistic 9year old VERY comfortable and his procedure went very smoothly! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these medical professionals! I am comfortable with placing my child’s health care and safety in their hands.

Dr. Coutras did a tonsillectomy/ adenoidectomy on my 10 yr old son. The surgery went well. My son is on the spectrum and has sensory issues. When he came out from under anesthesia, he was a beast. I’m sure he was the worst pt of the day (maybe even the week). He ended up getting admitted (which is another story). Why I’m writing this review is because in the hospital, my sons pain was not under control. They went ahead and discharged him any way and I was to pick up pain meds on my way out of the hospital. When I stopped by the pharmacy, Dr. Coutras had cancelled all of his meds. Sent him home with NOTHING for pain! When I called his office, nobody cared. They’d say “Pain is to be expected.” It was torture for my son. I feel he did that since he was such a difficult pt… Trying to get even maybe. Very sad really. I wouldn’t have believed something like this would happen if it wouldn’t have happened to us. It was literally the worst experience ever.

Excellent bed side manner, made me very comfortable prior to surgery.
