We left the Paulding County Emergency room with the patient, who was dour family member in hysterics.If we could FLAG DO NOT USE & rate a 0, we would. Dr. Core was not thorough or proactive in accessing the patients issues. We arrived via ambulance for abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, Decreased appetite, & constipation. The patient was diagnosed with ALS in February therefore several underlying issues could be a factor.He made an immediate “educated guess” that she was suffering from Gastroparesis. He wanted to start her on a medication that our familyWas not in agreement with due to possible counter acting with other medications. He was rude, arrogant, unsympathetic, inattentive & unapologetic to his approach in moving forward to treating the patient. From a family friend who is a professional in the medical field “ He should have consulted a GI and neurologist because of her diagnosis.We left & were treated at another hospital.

Dr Core was quintessential professional in my care. He asked me questions, always waited for a response before moving on. He explained everything he intended to do to solve my problem. He checked in on me even during a very busy day in ER department. Excellent doctor.
