Excellent doctor one of the only ones I feel comfortable around he's painless and seems to truly care about your condition which for me are mostly injuries

The services that I receive from is excellent. Dr. Chang and the staff are friendly. I am properly informed about my eye health. I would have no qualms in recommending them to friendly and friends.

Dr. Chang is a thorough, competent, personable and compassionate doctor. The experiences I’ve had with his caring for me for cataract surgery, monitoring for diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, eye glass prescriptions, and dry eyes, have all been very positive. It’s a busy office but the office staff handles it with warmth and good communication, as well as COVID safety protocols that I appreciate. So grateful to him and his staff.

Today at my appointment, I was placed in the back room amongst other patients and waited 50 minutes to see a doctor even though I was told that my full appointment time would not take more than 45 minutes. After 1 hour of waiting, I was told that it would take maybe another 35 minutes at least, to see the doctor. This was very inconsiderate that the staff took into no account a patient’s time or never once cared to keep any patient in the room updated during their visit. At the time of making appointments, the staff always asks the reason for the visit, which can give them an insight of how long an appointment should be scheduled. Yet, it seems as though appointments are scheduled based on volume and not on a patient’s need. For all those reasons above, losing me as a patient just caused your practice to lose future patients once my review is posted online. Furthermore, it also jeopardizes the networking and referral given to me by another medical practitioner.

Dr Chang impressed me immediately on my first consultation. Other eye surgeons I consulted pushed hard for me to go with adjustable lenses for cataract surgery. They are expensive and not covered by Medicare. A friend of mine got them and he now has migraines and they don't work. Dr. Chang told me he doesn't do them as he thinks they are not yet perfected. His honesty won me over immediately. He did my surgery and the results are outstanding. I couldn't be happier.
