I had a hemithyroidectomy almost a decade ango and had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bomeli. When I was told I needed the rest of my thyroid out this year, I wanted Dr. Bomeli to do my surgery again. He is very personable and skilled. He did an amazing job hiding my scar in my existing neck creases. I could barely tell I had had surgery. I can’t recommend him enough.

Dr. Bomeli did eustachian tube balloonplasty for mild eustachian tube dysfunction. He informed me that it was a simple procedure and to expect 1-2 weeks of some ear soreness. He shared a pamphlet where the success rate was over 90%. Prior to procedure I was able to be symptom free with daily nasal steroid. I am now 9 weeks post procedure and have severe eustachian tube dysfunction with significant ear pressure, muffling of sound, and worsening tinnitus. I was never given an explanation of why I am having significant symptoms but that everything looked fine. I think that if I had been forewarned about the risks I would have never chosen the procedure. I was aware that it might not work but I was never told that there was the possibility that it could actually make my symptoms significantly worse. It would have never been worth it since my symptoms were very minor. Both ears were done and both feel like they have been significantly traumatized and that my hearing is decreased.

The staff was extremely helpful and polite.The doctor is very efficient and throughly explained everything along the process.My procedure went as expected. I’m pleased with the referral to him.

When my remaining thyroid gland needed to be removed, I was very anxious until I had my first consultation with Dr. Bomeli. Not only is he an acknowledged expert in this field with years of experience, but he also puts patients at ease by responding to all concerns and explaining every step of the process. Dr. Bomeli is surrounded by a wonderful team, at his office and, most importantly, at the Atlanta Outpatients Center. The day of the surgery, I felt I was in the very best hands every step of the way. My husband in the waiting room was kept informed throughout the surgery via text messages, which he appreciated very much. I was able to go home 40 minutes after surgery and had a perfect and speedy recovery. It is now 2 weeks after surgery, my scar has already receded noticeably, and I feel great. I could not be more grateful and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Bomeli, whose excellence is truly outstanding.

Dr. Bomeli is by far one of the best doctors I have ever seen and worked with! And that is saying something, as a person who has multiple complex medical conditions with a literal index of specialists. Through a recommendation from one of many specialists, I found my way to Dr. Bomeli.He treated me with such care and respect, listened to all of my weird symptoms and didn’t dismiss anything, answered my many questions, and was incredibly assuring. I had to have surgery to remove part of my thyroid - after being incredibly ill for most of the year from severe Covid, I was anxious to say the least. Dr. Bomeli was amazing through the whole process. I felt cared for, safe, and in the best care this city can provide. My experience was excellent. I was referred to Dr. Bomeli at Advanced ENT because I had an extremely large hashimotos thyroid that was causing issues with my breathing, swallowing, pain, & general quality of life. I had been spooked in the past by previous physicians telling me that removing the gland would be very challenging. I was able to return home the same day & a week & a half later I was able to get my bandage removed & back to my usual routine. My procedure was a balloon sinuplasty and all aspects of the procedure went well. Breathing much better and absolutely a much better quality of life. Dr. Bomeli is very impressive, obviously knows everything about his specialty, and a nice guy. The office is very efficient with all appointments on time - no waiting.
