Dr. Steven Bibevski, MD

There really aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Bibevski and his team are. My daughter was scheduled for cath surgery two weeks ago to close her ASD which is much less invasive than open heart surgery. She went into surgery with another doctor and it was unsuccessful and we were told we’d have to consider open heart surgery. An opening became available the following day and it was extremely difficult to process having to do open heart surgery in a matter of 24 hours. But Dr. Bibevski and his team were so amazing. Their communication, kindness and reassurance helped to ease our fears as parents. They are really incredible. I hope you all know what an impact you are making on families every day. Thank you all for taking care of my baby girl.

Dr. Bibevski and his team are the best!!!! I have no words to express my gratitude to Joe DiMaggio and to Dr Bibevski, my son had heart surgery and everything went really well. He was walking the next day and after 3 days we were going back home. Thank you all for your dedication and hard work!!!

The whole staff from the front office all the way to the nurses and Dr. Steven Bibevski was exceptional as they explained procedures and making us feel like family. Lord knows I was extremely scared about my son having open heart surgery but Dr. Bibevski made everything reassuring and easy. He even contacted me before, mid-way & after my son’s procedure. I was a nervous wreck but the staff and himself made me at ease with the continued communication and reassurance. Thank you all so very much for everything!

Dr.Bibevski saved my daughter’s life! My daughter was born in October and ended up having to stay in the NICU for about a month because of her heart condition. She had “coarctation of aorta” and a large PDA. He and his team didn’t want to perform surgery if they didn’t need to because my daughter was so small, so they gave her ibuprofen to see if it would help the PDA to start closing. My daughter ended up doing 3 rounds of that and unfortunately her PDA did not close. She then had a minor procedure done for measurements to see what size device would be needed to assist with closing her PDA. The device that they had in their facility was too big for my daughter, and they would have to order the proper size device which could’ve taken a couple weeks. This was a blessing in disguise. An opening for surgery came about the very next week. My daughter recovered extremely well and quickly from such a major surgery and is doing amazing! Her scar is very thin and barely visible. My son Diego was born on March 15th and after staying in the Palm West Hospital NICU for 10 days with no improvement, he was finally diagnosed with a Coartation of the Aorta, one of the many congenital heart diseases. I cannot deny that I felt like I was dying and that I was terribly afraid for my child's life. But angels exist and live on earth disguised as humans, and these angels for me were the wonderful team that cared for my child from the moment he was transferred to the Joe  DiMaggio Hospital, during his stay in the ICU and until the last day he was hospitalized there. I have no words to thank each and every one of you.And especially to Dr. Steven Bibevski cardiac surgeon, a true angel who provides healing to babies like my child, and restores hope and will to live to mothers who have had to go through this painful situation. Thank you doctor, thank you to you and your team. May the Lord bless you and all those who gave exceptional care to my boy.

My visits to this office were great and they treated my daughter like one of a kind!!!!!!!!!!
