Finally!
Dr. A was my third NS. My original moved to Florida but saved my back, in the constricted way he could. Dr.A looked at my history, SHOWED me how my hardware was loose (no one believed me!), said I had 6-7 things going on, & is fusing my SI joint that has been in horrible pain for 13 years. He pointed out everything my former surgeon said was starting to become a problem when others ignored my pleas for help. Dr.A actually has a plan to fix it all. If his surgeries are anything like his injections, I am in FABULOUS hands. The injection took all of 45 sec. I was anxious for NOTHING. Actually looking forward to getting my hip fixed after putting it off so long, and fixing my hardware (T10-S2). I fully trust him like I did 20 years ago before I lost him due to insurance. Glad to be back in his amazing care.

Great Neurosurgeon
I had 4 MRI in 2010 & had already seen two Neurosurgeons who told me the MRI shows only minor bulging so they couldn't help me, Dr. Anagnost was the third Neurosurgeon, he told me the same thing at first but I told him I was in agonizing pain & it was definitely more than minor bulging & I needed his help, he said he believed me, then said just because a particular test doesn't find the problem that doesn't mean there isn't a problem, he recommended a 4 level discogram, I did that & it showed C5-C6 disc's were full thickness ruptured very badly, so he was able to do a double fusion & it changed my life at the time, Dr. Anagnost was a RARE Exceptional Dr. that was able to think outside the box & find the problem, the exact same thing happened 5 years later when another Disc. ruptured, Dr. Anagnost is much better than a Typical Dr. in my opinion, if nobody else can help you, Give Dr. Anagnost a try, I would bet on him everytime, & his bedside manner is just phenomenal.

Great Surgery Results
I have had two surgical experiences with Dr. Anagnost. Both times recovery went very well. The first surgery was to stop severe muscle spasms in my right leg, below the knee. The spasms stopped. This was a few years ago. Eight months ago he performed a second surgery. It was on my lower lumbar. For two months previous I was in so much pain I couldn't even cry. My surgery was outpatient. He scraped out arthritis, removed bone spurs and replaced the missing pads that cushion the vertebra. One month after my surgery my family told me what Dr. Anagnost said when he came to the waiting room after he was done. The words were, 'I don't know why she's not paralyzed'. I said God has other plans. I am still recovering and I knew it would be a long recovery. I thank God everyday for putting Dr. Anagnost in my life.If you have any kind of back issues I highly recommend Dr. Anagnost. At least let him give you a second opinion. Oh and by the way, I am walking without a cane or anything.

If there was a rating less than one star I would use it. An outpatient surgery with a 4 week recovery time resulted in 7 months of no work, a hospital stay to save my leg and months of pain, and money I shouldn't have had to spend. So your research before using this doc! I sure wish I would have.

Lower back surgery eliminated all my pain
I had minimally invasive lower spine L4-L5 fusion surgery. From the minute I woke up from anesthesia, I no longer had lower back pain or leg pain. The surgery was an outpatient procedure and I left the hospital about 4 hours after I had arrived. I am walking more than 25 minutes every morning with no pain. I am so very pleased with Dr. Anagnost's minimally invasive spine surgery.

You mean 'God'??
He did 2 or 3 or my surgeries, cervical spine, at Hillcrest and he never listened to me , always knew what I felt or what was wrong, I didn't even need to be there. I nicknamed him 'god' bc that's how he acted. I developed a clot at one incision on front or side of my neck...I called several times, and they said don't worry, he said not to come in..it got so big that my girlfriend took me to ER and they were shocked! It was like a orange (I'm exaggerating only a little) and people would gasp, so ER ordered me to go see him, sent him fax to see me yet he sent me home twice and said if still there next visit he'd remove..I was brushing my hair and accidentally hit with brush! Blood everywhere, my dad rushed me in, emergency surgery ..all on Halloween no less! He did nothing until it exploded and even other Dr's were shocked sooo..avoid this man..he even got in trouble..I was like 'yep..Dr god' ..

In 2012, I started having severe lower back pain. I had heard horror stories about having back surgery, so I was very concerned. I met Dr Anagnost, through another Orthopedic Doctor and a very close friend working as a PA, in the Tahlequah office. The pain was extreme and I had no quality of life. I wasn’t able to have, the minimal invasive surgery, creating even more anxiety. Dr Anagnost, was very supportive, caring and explain every detail, of the surgical procedure. I had a L-4 and L-5 Lamenectomy, and 4 cages, with cadaver bone infused. I actually went home, that evening, never having to use pain meds, only a couple of days of muscle relaxers. I am now seeking his God given talent, for my neck and S spine. I can’t thank Dr Anagnost enough, for giving my life back, for almost 8 years now. I have referred several friends to him and they too are delighted, with their results. If you have reservation, fear or anxiety, I promise he will do everything, in his power to help you

Over 15 years ago, Dr. Anagnost performed L5 microdiscectomy and gave me back the ability to walk. Recently he properly diagnosed an SI Joint problem and I am in recovery from a successful fusion of that joint relieving my back and leg pain. Dr. Anagnost is a caring, extremely competent surgeon. He took great care of my wife too. Highly recommend you talk with him if you are in pain. He always prefers to take a conservative, minimally invasive approach wherever possible. Dr. Anagnost is a pioneer in the minimally invasive surgical field

Dr. Anagnost is a life saver! I heard about him from a co worker. Once I set up an appointment Dr. Anagnost quickly diagnosed my issue. He was very informative on the routes I could take and what he recommended. The guy knows what he is doing. Im so thankful to have found this ethical great dr. I had a spinal fusion and a laminectomy. Once I woke up from the procedure I could immediately tell my left foot had more feeling in it. My entire left leg felt so much better and as for the fusion. I could feel the strength back in my lower back. I feel more stabilized. I also would like to add that my insurance denied half of the procedure, but Dr. Anagnost was able to help me get me the procedure I needed. Its been 3 weeks after the surgery and I am no longer having muscle spasm and intense flare ups. Feeling much better! Thank you Dr. Anagnost!!

I had let my pain change the person I was…I felt ashamed and like I had let my wife down because I was not the man she fell in love with. Last Christmas my right arm and shoulder went numb and stayed numb. I would have massive bruises and not ever feel them. It scared the hell out of me! At that point the orthopedic dr ordered mri. He couldn’t believe the results, mainly because I am only 40. He told me that He could not help me due to it being out of his area of expertise but referred me to Dr Anagnost. Dr Anagnost immediately impressed me with his absolute confidence that he could “fix” me. I had a collapsed disc (c5-c6) with bone Spurs and it was smashing the nerve. There was also some degenerative damage present as well. I am 2 months out of surgery and I feel amazing! He gave me the recipe and I am following to the T. No more pain and once again am the man my wife fell in love with. Thank you Dr…you are an extraordinary man!

His bedside manner is fabulous! My SI fusion surgery went off perfectly with little to no pain afterwards. I would highly recommend the care of Dr. Anagnost and, along with my husband, who is also his patient, will never consider using the services or direction of any other surgeon! Thank you Dr. A, we love you!

I went in to see Dr Anagnost because of severe migraine headaches for over a year and lots of pain in neck and back. I was about to give up hope after seeing 3 different Drs ( neurologist, ear nose throat, allergist), who all kept feeding me meds instead of FIXING the problem! My primary care provider referred me to Dr Anagnost and he told me it's discs causing the migraine headaches! Had surgery January 8th 2021 and since that day, I have had NO MORE MIGRAINE HEADACHES!! He's a 5 star Dr in my books and I will refer everyone i meet to him!! Thank you Dr Anagnost!! You gave me my life back and hope!

He may be a good Dr. I didn't get the chance to find out but his office staff is terrible they do not answer phone and return calls. I saw him in the middle of Dec. 2019. His nurse set me up for surgery on my S1, took day off work for pre op the hospital didn't have any orders and they were out of network for me. His nurse said that they would get me in Jan. 2020. so I call every week in Jan. and Feb most of the time no one answered the phone and certainly would not called you back. When I did reach someone she would look and say youre not on the schedule yet but we haven't forgot you. Then she told me 3 times that they were waiting on the insurance to get back to them. when I called my insurance they had never submitted anything to them. I quit calling and as of today April 3, 2020 I have heard nothing.

For 5 years I've lived on Norco 10's 4 times a day due to low back pain. I even had surgery 5 months ago to fix a ruptured disc. I got zero relief. Dr Anagnost did nspan surgery 1 month with miraculous results! My pain went from a 9 to a 0.5 to a 1. My norco use has dropped to 1 a day and am reducing that! If you are suffering back pain, see Dr Anagnost and let his technics allow you to experience your own miracle!

I have had 2 procedures by Dr. Anagnost. My 1st SI Joint Fusion was May 2019 and the second SI Joint Fusion was September 2019. I am doing so well no pain when walking, standing or sitting. I also have a better balance when walking. I received immediate relief after both fusions. Dr. Anagnost is the only Orthopedic Surgeon I would trust with my spinal care. Professional, trustworthy, compassionate, I could go on & on. Thank you Dr. Anagnost, you are a true blessing!!

Dr. Anagnost is AMAZING! I was referred to him by my mother because he did such a great job on her back surgery. He actually cares about his patients and treats you with respect. I'm 3 months out of surgery, my surgery went great. I healed very quickly. Before surgery there were several days I couldn't walk or could hardly and I'm sure I'll always have some sort of pain, but I have my life back now and my kids have a mom again and my husband has a wife again. God definitely lead me to Dr. Anagnost and my life is changed for the better! I'm very grateful and would absolutely recommend him to anyone with back issues. Also, I'd like to mention his nurse who is wonderful! She gives you her cell phone number and is willing to help you anytime, she's always happy to help, you're never a bother. I just can't say enough good things!
