Dr. Steve Fanto, MD

Brilliant. Understands the PATIENTS pain condition without judgement. I have serious spine issues, a lifetime of nightmare pain 4 surgeries couldn't correct. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Fanto's help and concern. The best pain management in Arizona if you suffer from debilitating CHRONIC pain.

Dr Fanto is a knowledgeable, compassionate & honest doctor. If you have questions, he answers them & not with Dr jargon & language you don't understand. Beyond that, he explains how things work between Dr's, insurance companies, pharmacies & now the governmental interference in pain management. I have seen many Dr's in my 20+ years of illness & have been shuffled around from one Dr to the next with little regard for how it affects me, the patient, & Fanto cares. He cares about his patients.

Dr Fanto is very caring and articulate. He is very thurough and makes sure that Im as comfortable as possible. He always listens to my concerns and makes sure that I understand the situation. I have and would continue to reccomend Dr Fanto to friends and family. Best of all Dr Fanto has always been prompt for the appointments.

Absolutely amazing Dr who truly cares about his patients & how their pain affects them & also their families! He's not a stuffy old Dr & is an expert & current in his knowledge of pain management & treatments. If you're looking for a "legal drug dealer" or don't intend to follow your contract, go elsewhere. But if you want a caring, understanding Dr to work WITH you not ON you, get in with Dr Fanto. It takes some time to get your 1st apt, but he's worth it. His staff are great as well.

If you are looking for an intelligent pain management physician and you are willing to be completely honest I would highly recommend Steve Fanto MD. Dr. Fanto is knowledgeable and understanding of my rare chronic medical condition. He's intelligent, kind, sympathetic, asks pertinent questions and listens to me and respond accordingly at every appointment. He has referred me to other excellent physicians. We work as a team trying to improve my quality of life. I feel he always has my back.

Dr. Fanto is very caring, understanding, compassionate and Energized. He's a great listener and is extremely proactive to demolish pain or at least makes sure his patients are comfortable and are able to function with their daily routines. Dr. Fanto is definitely one of the Best doctors I've ever known. Dr Steve Fanto is an awesome doctor and I would (and have) recommend him to anyone. He truly listens to you and your problems and actually cares. He is not afraid to order tests: Xrays MRIs @ or CT scans if he feels you need one to better assess and get you feeling better. I have moderate to severe Chronic spine pain and spine muscle spasms. Dr. Fanto provides qualified patients with treatment to life a semi normal life. If your in pain you want to see a Board Certified Pain management like Dr Fanto. GP's are not qualified to dispense pain meds and will more often than not deny you treatment and extend your suffering. Pain meds are a last resort but if you need meds remember NSAIDS destroy kidney function whereas opiates do not.

I wish I would've found Dr. Fanto when I first moved to Phoenix last summer! But instead, I wasted an entire year with a horrible pain doctor because I had no reference to go on until I finally left her and thankfully found Dr. Fanto. He is above & beyond one of the best doctors I have ever seen! Appointments are always on time, the staff is super friendly and knows you by name and the best part is that Dr. Fanto is more concerned about your well-being rather than just following 'the rules'.
