Outstanding Cardialogist
After my Harvard-educated cardiologist in Delray Beach wanted to perform a heart catheterization due to an 'abnormal' stress test, I decided to see Dr. Tobias. He ordered an Echocardiogram, which showed that my heart was functioning normally and that I did not need a catheterization. He is an exceptional physician who listens to his patients and educates them about their options.

Terrible office staff
I found Dr Tobias to be professional, knowledgable and very personable.I would have like him to be my cardiologist. However, his office staff refused to comunicate with my insurance company. They claimed it was not neccessary, but the insurance company denied a test due to their refusal.

Cardia Doctor with a Heart
Dr. Stephen Tobias is candid with a touch of kindness--essential traits for a doctor who is often delivering unwelcome news to a patient--and one who may be in denial. He even added a touch of tough love when my husband did not want to give up his active "lifestyle" to have open heart surgery. When Dr. Tobias said matter-of-factly, "You're not going to have any lifestyle if you're in a box," his messages hit home and we started making arrangements for surgery. We are certain that Dr. Tobias standing his ground saved my husband's life--and by averting a crisis of a stroke or heart attack, he can now return to his active lifestyle.
