Dr. Stephen Tannenbaum, MD

If you are looking for a urologist practice that cares about its patients, you haven’t found one. I made an appt. with this practice weeks in advance and arrived for my appt. only to find the doors locked and no one there to help. I called the receptionist of the business who claimed she had contacted me to tell me that the office was undergoing renovations and she had cancelled my appt. In reality, the only contact (less than a week before said appt.) was three useless voicemails, all within a short timespan while I was at work: an automated hold message, silence, and a muffled conversation. Later that same day, I confirmed my appt. via an automated call. All the receptionist said about this was that the confirmation message was “the system’s fault” and the office didn’t know the renovations would take long. I am so disappointed with how this was addressed. Still, I am thankful to avoid bringing serious medical issues to a practice so flippant with its patients’ time and health.

Had laser lipo. Almost Immediately dropped 25lbs. it’s been at least 2 years and that 25lbs of extra tummy bulge is still gone. It was a little more invasive than I had expected, but so worth it.

My dad had an open prostatectomy last week Wednesday and each day my dad was in the hospital the story was that Dr. Tannenbaum was going to see my dad. That never ever happened. Everyday was another one of his partners. Considering it’s Aventura hospital we expected so much more from him as a doctor. But in 2018 it’s all about billing insurance and getting paid for nothing. We’re looking for another urologist to follow my dad post surgery.

This doctor is very knowledgable and great bed side manner. I was able to get in quickly to see him.

Pooooooor explanations Underestimates patients intelligences Does not listen to patients fears!! When things are not looking good!! Extremely disappointed !!
