Simply awesome
On time, has familiarized himself with my information before seeing me, asks me pertinent questions, discusses each relevant area, and give me options and his recommendations. He is time efficient, but when I have a question especially at end of the visit, he patiently takes the time to listen to my concerns, and reviews my chart, and gives me his recommendation. My annual wellness visit is much more thorough than any previous primary care doctors did.

I waited in the room for him for over an hour, when he finally came in to speak with me it was a nightmare. He was in such a hurry (I assume since he was behind) that he rushed through and focused on one of the many issues I had mentioned (anxiety), not what the appt was for. He was in the room less than 10min. After telling him I didn't want any medication I would have to take regularly he prescribed me a medication that is not used to treat what he said it was for, that has to be taken regularly and weaned off of if it does not work PLUS takes 6-8weeks to start working. He did not listen to me, and he did not address my concerns, nor did he give me time to discuss what plan he was trying to put me on. After reading at home about the medication that he said. "had no side effects" I found it had adverse reactions with my current medications, I emailed hid office to tell them this and he refused to correct his prescription. After questioning him I was discharged as his patient.

Dr Sutton Spent a total of 15 minutes with me and a new patient in his office and charged me 279$ for the visit. I have several health issues that require lab draw monitoring which he did not address and chronic issues that he referred out of his office. Needless to say I was not satisfied at all. When I called to ask why the bill was so much for so little I was discharged from his care. So if you want a caring pcp go else where. He's not it!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sutton's for 15 years and know other patients who he has treated for several years too. He has a calm manner, listens to and is respectful to his patients. Dr. Sutton is obviously experienced and is extremely competent in his diagnosis's. I am very pleased with the medical treatment I and my family have received from him.

Not sure why St John's is not keeping Dr. Sutton but its a big mistake. I would recommend him and his staff but the way you did this 'change' is so wrong to your patients. I will look elsewhere because I am not sure if trusting St John's is wise.
