Dr. Stephen Shepherd, DO

Dr. Shepherd is our pediatrician for our 2-year old. We met with three pediatricians before finally landing with him, and he is everything we wanted in a pediatrician. He's knowledgeable, but what stands out is how personable he is and how much he makes us feel cared about in each of our appointments. Our kiddo is slow to warm up, but is great with Dr. Shepherd, and we love how Dr. Shepherd incorporates his own personal experiences with his kids into our conversations as well. It gives us a sense of relief knowing he's gone through the same things we are going through as well.We couldn't be more appreciative of Dr. Shepherd!!

Dr. Shepard is the most amazing family practitioner that ha sever been referred to me. He was always there to listen to me as well as help to with the situations and the meds that i needed . He is one who wont let you become an addict and he knows what is best for those and he goes far and beyond to help those in need

My experience went from excellent to sour. Pre-appointment was great- easy to get an appt and good communication. During the check-in process, the front desk asked me to electronically sign someone else's HIPPA paperwork. Yikes Dr. Sheperd was kind and you can tell he cares about his patients; however, he pushed back on two tests I requested during my physical yet tested me for homocysteine (not common), billed it with an investigative code, and now I'm fighting insurance with an $85 bill.

Excellent doctor -- great listener, spent lots of time with me, seemed to really care. Wish he hadn't switch locations!

My spouse and I recently were transferred from Houston to Denver and had to find a new PCP here. We both agree that the doctor was very personable and a great listener regarding our past and current medical conditions. He spent a great deal of time with both of us to gain a complete understanding of our histories and our expectations. He is definitely our new PCP. We would highly recommend the doctor to anyone who needs a PCP or wants to change PCP. It will be worth your while to change.

Very attentive and insightful. Takes time to get to know the patient and help the patient feel educated and involved in the decision-making.
