Dr. Salzbrenner genuinely cares about the patient. He takes the time to assess your medications and make recommendations based on each patient. He never seems to be in a rush and takes the time to thoroughly listen to you. He's very easy to talk to.

While receiving counseling along with the information the neurological DNA exam provided I was better able to build on my strong foundation while building up healthy mechanisms to continue to learn, accept and function in my new life. With the help from Dr. Salzbrenner and his health team, I have been able to maintain a stable and accepting attitude with my new life. I have gladly recommended Dr. Salzbrenner to my friends, community members and relatives that may be struggling with psychological and mental health issues.

He's patient and has a calming voice. Really cares and is genuinely interested in his patient's lives. Knows meds/got me out of depression in 6 mos. Good about returning his messages, sometimes following up with a phone call as opposed to the portal. He has a quirky sense of humor which is a plus. He is also a faith-filled man.

Dr Salzbrenner is both a professor of Psychiatry and a learner. There have been times when patient experiences provide insights that he uses in teaching his students. No stale knowledge here. He stays on top of modern medicine.
