Thanks, Dr. Ofori and Team!
I had never heard of Dr. Ofori before my referral, and several acquaintances expressed concern about using a neurosurgeon with whom I was not familiar. After checking out his credentials and praying about it, I proceeded with him and am glad I did! It has been only ten days since he performed diskectomy, laminectomy and foraminotomy in lumbar vertebrae L3, L4, L5 and S1, but I can already see immense improvement in my overall condition. I have some post-surgery (and hopefully temporary) neuropathy in my feet and toes, but I think that is to be expected, considering all the whittling he had to do. Regardless, it pales in comparison to what I had before surgery. The debilitating pain, numbness and electricaI sensations I had from the waist down appear to be resolved, and Dr. Ofori and his team have been very helpful, caring and professional throughout the process. I highly recommend him and his CCMH team to anyone with similar issues.

Had fusion surgery C5-6, 6-7, 7 and T1, had problems swallowing never went away. He paralyzed a vocal cord, and partially paralyzed my throat and valve to stomach. Have had to sleep at an incline to reduce gerd. Had fusion plate over 3 vertibray rip through throat, had to have reconstructive surgery, spent 30+ days in Phoenix AZ and spent 9 weeks on a feeding tube. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER.

I am an active duty Soldier and in 2009 while stationed in Fort Sill, I was badly injured in a motor vehicle accident. I shattered my vertebra and Dr. Ofori was my surgeon. It has been almost 10 years and I have virtually no issues with my back and I truly believe it had everything to do with his skill and expertise. EXCELLENT Surgeon that saved my career!!

This Yale educated and Harvard trained neurosurgeon is one of a kind! He did an operation which is not done by any of the other neurosurgeons in the Lawton area which has helped me tremendously. He has done what other doctors in Lawton could not. Dr. Ofori is always very patient, thorough, caring, and he has always treated me with such kindness and respect. He is the ultimate professional, I always look forward to going for my office visits with him. He is a God-sent gift to me & my family.
