Doesn't care about his patients, never smiles
I saw him twice. First time in person, where he couldn't wait to get me out of his office. Didn't listen to any thing I said, didn't seem to care about helping me. Never smiled.Second time on Zoom where he couldn't get his audio working, cut me off, and never called me back.

PLEASE READ: This man is NOT actually a psychiatrist. If you are going to see him expecting him to prescribe medicine (like I was), know that he is not licensed to do so. And like many others have mentioned, this guy is the absolute worst.

Unprofessional and dismissive
Initially, dr Lund seemed personable and caring. Ultimately, appts were about him and his personal life. Limited knowledge of sleep issues, maybe just sleep apnea. He, admittedly, was incapable of helping me, yet would not assist with a direction "I do not know anyone. Just do an online search". He adamantly refused to refill my sleep med, even in the interim. There is a mean streak there... Beautiful facility. Nice staff but NO !

Feel like a scam after 20min
Dr Lund didn't even listen at all during the short consultation with me, he kept trying to sell me something that is not relevant at all, and kept ignoring me. It felt like a joke and it is unbelievable how arrogant and unprofessional he is.

Dr. Lund is probably my favorite among all my doctors. I'm never rushed, he always takes his time with me, answering whatever questions I might have. Always finds time to get to know me and my habits, and to suggest changes in procedures to enhance my sleep experience.

Incredibly rude, dismissive and combative. I have seen other doctors at Sleep Disorders Institute and they have all been very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Not Stephen Lund. He is unbelievably arrogant and ignored any information I tried to give him. I would highly recommend avoiding him at all costs. Terrible.

Terrible. It’s 2:30 am and I’m crying from frustration because I can’t sleep. It’s been months and they haven’t helped my insomnia. Dr Lund and SDI diagnosed my sleep apnea but they’re taking way too long to get a cpap machine approved with my insurance company (I have to be the one to organize between them and my insurance) and it’s not the sleep apnea that’s causing me distress. It’s my insomnia, and they haven’t helped with that at all. So I’m still struggling to sleep.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Lund?
Like many others who reviewed him, Dr Lund spoke to me in a very condescending tone. Instead of being helpful, he ended up judging and berating me. I have been nothing but soft-spoken, courteous, and open with him, and yet he reacted the opposite. I will no longer see him or Sleep Disorder Institute.

While ultimately the information and treatment I received was solid my experience there is consistently poor. The staff is generally disorganized and the overall manner towards patients is indifferent to rude. Dr. Lund is certainly qualified but I have never once had a nice experience with him. He's snarky and rude. I have never written a review like this but after multiple visits with the same experience I felt inclined to.

Rude and incompetent. I have sleep issues connected to shift work. He suggested I simply find another job! Ha! Problem solved! Do I need to say how tempted I was to say he should find another job as well. Condescending and creepy individual.

Dr Lund was the absolute worst doctor I have ever visited - and I say this as a middle age man. His behavior was bizarrely creepy and he exhibited absolutely no medical expertise in sleep medicine. It is hard to imagine that he is allowed to practice medicine or be allowed to see patients.
