The complete experience - from initial diagnosis visit to completed surgery - was excellent. Professional, informative, thorough and accessible. All questions were answered clearly and completely. Really could not have been better. Both his staff and the support staff at Sheridan Hospital were exceptionally friendly, caring and patient! Thank you!

Dr. Holst is a highly qualified specialist. He has cared for both my parents as well as myself and several of my clients from my business. He handles himself very well and provides compassionate care under very difficult circumstances. He is a good man and an excellent doctor.

My 20 year old son is a college student working this summer in the Sheridan area. After experiencing three weeks of urinary discomfort he made an appt with Dr Holst. A urine test was completed which showed "no growth". When asked what the appropriate next step should be, Dr Holst suggested we see "a specialist" upon returning home from the summer. I asked what kind of specialist? Dr Holst replied, "An Urologist". Clearly, Dr Holst wasn't interested in helping us find the source of the discomfort

Words can't express the depth of my gratitude to Dr. Holst and his staff. He spent hours on a meticulous surgery to remove a small tumor from my left kidney which turned out to be benign. His staff is kind and courteous and I would highly recommend his care to all of my family and friends.

I have been under the care of Dr. Holst for over 15 years for a chronic condition. I have experienced thoughtful, conservative care that can only be described as excellent. I can highly and without reservation recommend this physician. I am grateful to have this kind of quality in my community.

We had a great experience, Dr Holst explained the process he was going to perform well and in terms we could understand. He was sympathetic to the pain my husband was going through and did his best to make him comfortable till surgery day. We definitely recommend him and his wonderful staff.

I have a prostrate problem Dr. Holst prescribed ceflophlaxin antibiotic. This was Thursday afternoon, I picked up my Rx and was told this has a negative reaction on tendons. I have ruptured both Achilles tendons. To late to do anything about the issue till next day, Friday. He was not available at the time. On Saturday morning I got a personal call from Dr. Holst changing my antibiotic. Very professional and caring to follow up to a potential problem, on a Saturday. Robert L. McGuire

I received excellent patient care and services from Dr Holst and his staff. Dr. Holst took the time to explain in detail the surgical procedure and expectations during recovery (TURP - prostate surgery). Dr. Holst followed up with a bedside and welfare check the day following surgery, and appointments were set up to evaluate my recovery upon being released from the hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Holst and his staff for your medical needs.

Dr. Holst has a serious issue with his clients asking questions if he thinks, for even one second, that you are questioning something he has done. He is irrational, defensive, and has atrocious bedside manner. If he doesn't want to answer a question, he says, "We'll talk about that later." When 'later' came, and I got tired of being shoved off (after 4 visits with the SAME unanswered questions), I kept asking the same pertinent question politely. He got loud, childish, rude and never answered.

Their office is so busy that every appointment is booked for 20 minutes. You are shuffled around like a herd of cattle. Long wait time to see the doctor for 2 minutes. Not pleased with my experience but the only Urologist for over 1 hour.
