Dr. Stephen Hansen, MD

I have been in severe back pain for over 7 years and after chiropractic, acupuncture, pain shots and anything else I could find, I finally decided to see Dr Hansen. Dr Hansen is amazing! I had heard so many negative things about surgery I was really afraid to consider it. I am now, six months after my surgery, completely pain free. It is like a miracle in my life.Dr Hansen will carefully listen to all your concerns and communicate with great respect. He will take the time to explain procedures. I always felt that he (and Luke, his PA) had my best interest in mind and really wanted to make sure I could live my best life. The first two months after my surgery were not real fun, but the results have been perfect! I will forever be grateful to Dr Hansen and his crew!

I've been privileged to have Dr Hansen as my physician for nearly 9 years. I've never been treated with more respect or personalized care. Because of concern with my health, I received 5 'second opinions' from orthopedic surgeons from Idaho Falls to Lehi, UT. After all that research I knew that Dr Hansen was the right person recommending the right procedure. His bedside manner reflects genuine concern. I've recommended close family members to him and wouldn't hesitate to have anyone close to me be under his care. Exceptional.

Because of Dr. Hansen I look forward to being able to have an active life again, and enjoying time out in nature again. He’s compassionate and he listened to everything I said. He performed a long 2 part surgery for flat back syndrome. I was in the hospital for a while but it was more than worth it. Prior to that he performed another delicate surgery, to start fixing the failed fusion of another doctor where he removed a screw that had come loose and was resting very close to my iliac vein. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing spine surgery. I am eternally grateful.

Dr. Hansen is wonderful. He’s kind, listens and truly wants to help people get back to an active life. He’s an amazing person in general. I was blessed to find him!

Dr. Hansen is an amazing doctor. He is caring and compassionate, skilled and amazing at what he does. Our experience with him is that he has been late getting in to see us, but it is because he takes time with his patients to talk, go over their concerns and questions, and make sure all their needs are taken care of. I would wait for a doctor to be late if their bed-side manner was like Dr. Hansen's. He will be performing my surgery and I have no doubt he will do an amazing job.

He is kind and takes time to explain procedures he is down to earth.. Did not talk down to me and does NOT have an ego problem.. Refreshing man who genuinely seems to care and want to help.. He is patient and answers questions and never brushed off any concerns I had...
