Had a head injury. Dr. Gervin saw me right away. Visit was very thorough and not at all rushed. He listened attentively, answered questions, and tested in the office as well as through MRIs and CT scans. My first visit I was very impressed and very comfortable. That was in December 2022.

Im giving him 1 Star Because none was not an option. He is a bad doctor and a even worse human being. I don’t know why he became a doctor if he is going to make patients cry when they go to him to get help. He does not even as for a patients history or care about it. Looked at my mom for 5 seconds and said he wouldn’t tell her anything because she didn’t have her medical records so she left and came back with all he asked, called her a liar for not telling him about a prior brain surgery which mind you he never asked about let alone gave her the time to say anything about her medical history or even the reason for going then said she needed a neurologist and to not waste his time. He has the worst bedside manner then any doctor I’ve ever seen and I’m in the medical profession and have see a lot of doctors who act like him but he (Dr.Gervin)takes the cake.

The Staff is nice and understanding. I was able to get seen right away But the doctor i guess was annoyed by my one year old son. Now kids are kids and there should be ways that parents should calm them in the doctors office but in my case that wasn't it. The nurse gave my son a coloring book and crayons and it worked for a few but then the doctor said take it away because he doesn't want kids writing on his walls and chairs. so the crying began. after my evaluation he gave me his diagnosis and

The Doctor was very professional, straight forward and reviewed the imaging disk I brought with me promptly. I came for a second opinion and I got one. He put my imaging up on the screen so he could expain what he was interpreting from the images. He had me do a few exercises so he could check my motion abilities. He was direct and very clear when giving his opinion of images. I would recommend him to review your images.

Avoid this “doctor” by all means. Him and his staff were unprofessional; made inappropriate comments and refused to look into my issues further. In order to have him understand my situation I brought my old records. I explained to him in detail my symptoms and instead of ordering new tests/ procedures to find out my current situation, he stated there was nothing he could do and that “ maybe there is nothing wrong” after my previous procedures showed there is in fact a problem.

On March 8, 2011, Dr. Gervin successfully took out a tumor (about 0.7 inches in diameter) , and restored my ability to walk again. It only took me 3 visits in 3 weeks to get the job done. It was a high risk open-spine surgery. A friend in the Northwestern University Hospital told me that the successful rate is about 50/50. I was glad to let him do it for me.

Don't walk but run from this terriblely rude man.. I should have read all the poor reviews on different webs and not wasted my time. Hard to believe a professional would act in such an unprofessional manner.. Can't say you were not warned.

I have seen Dr. Gervin and only have fantastic things to say about this amazing doctor. He correctly diagnosed me after being misdiagnosed for over one year. He was the only doctor who diagnosed me with facet pain from my lumbar joints. I was incorrectly being treated for a herniated disc (which I had but which was not causing the pain). I was recommended to have facet rhizotomy which I am scheduled to get and I can't be happier than my pain may soon be coming to an end! Thanks Dr. Gervin!

First of all very unprofessional. Wastes ppl's time walking in 2 hrs after scheduled appointment at every single 5 visits, without failing. Then once in consultation room he's dry and lacks bedside manners. Didn't have a goid feeling about him from the beginning and he has done nothing to prove me Otherwise. In addition, Lower back problems worsened after his recommendation.

WOW this dude is terrible!!! WOW I've never met a worse doctor in my entire life. This dude said that I don't need any help because I don't have cancer and to just take ibuprofen and swim when I've been taking ibuprofen for over 2 years. Stay away from this guy, what a joke of a doctor I swear. Waste of time. Oh and then he blamed my pain on my OCD saying that I was basically making everything up. Garbage doctor.

He refused to look at all my notes and imaging from the VA Medical Center stating that "The VA does not pay enough". I was going in with a referral from my primary care as well as insurance (copay paid at t visit). He seemed bothered when I had my information when i explained to him that i needed a 2nd opinion in regards to all my notes/imaging is when he refused and i asked for my copay money back and he accepted. He is a jerk interested in workman comp claims probably because its easy money.

I went with my husband to see him for an appointment. He was rude and told my husband that his back problems were because he was overweight ( which he is not). Other soldiers/employees from a military office in Doral have had similar outcome. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. My husband has multiple impinged discs and have nothing to do with weight, only injuries he suffered serving his country. I was so mad I told the patients in the waiting room that he was a quack and not to go in.
