Dr. Flaherty along with Envision Physician Services failed to provide appropriate care during a routine appendectomy. I was discharged by Dr. Flaherty while feeling sick after surgery. 2 days later I was back in the ER due to fevers and body aches. After looking at my lab results Dr. Flaherty informed me the symptoms I was experiencing were normal for post surgery patients. So I was discharged from his care the same day. 3 days later I was back in the hospital for elevated symptoms. This time I was seen by a different physician in the ER whole immediately informed me the one of the incisions from surgery was severely infected. I was held in the hospital for another 6 days while I healed. I asked Dr. Flaherty for the hospitals grievance process and he informed me that he was unaware a grievance process and said "you weren't sick when you came the other day. You must have done something while you were discharged to cause the infection." After the nightmare I was bill balanced $8,000.

he is the most dangerous incompetent and dishonest dr i ever saw. i wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy

avoid him at all costs. he operated on my cousin who later passed away as a complication of abdominal surgery.
