Excellent doctor
I've known Doctor Esposito for the past 20 years. He has always given me excellent advice. He is extremely patient, has a wonderful bedside manner and has always solved my GI problems in the best possible way without prescribing hundreds of drugs or tests. His diagnostics are always accurate. I trust him 100%. I would never dream of consulting any other doctors.

Terrible & Still Unresolved
Unfortunately we have been waiting over 6 months to finalize a much needed surgery and both the provider and staff were unable to close the loop. Patients should not have to get involved with functions and responsibilities that fall on the medical staff. This has yet to be resolved and we are considering legal actions.

Great Doctor buuuuttt Long Wait Times
Dr. Esposito is very knowledgeable and passionate of his work. However, every visit that I've had has long wait times (couple of hours at best). Also, some of his staff (not all) are rude. The 'old timers' who have been with Dr. Esposito are great. The newer staff leave little to desire. If you are willing to wait for great advice and accurate diagnoses, then see Dr. Esposito.

Dr Esposito Saved My Life
8 years ago Dr Esposito diagnosed my Colon Cancer. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here today Cancer Free. Today I had an endoscopy/colonoscopy & Dr Esposito & his lovely staff couldn't be any more comforting & professional. Dr Esposito is the best Gastroenterologist I have ever meet. I highly recommend him.

Holy cow. I don't know what these people are talking about. I've seen this physician for years and found him to be caring and extra-ordinarily informed. His treatment for my condition was spot on. Even though I saw several other Gastro's in the area, they all missed my issue.

He found and treated my problem, but my insurance company refused to cover the testing because of one particular test that he should not have requested. His office did not check with my insurance if the tests were approved beforehand. I went through 1.5 years of appeals and he, along with his staff, made the process extremely unpleasant/stressful for me. The staff ignored requests for case notes & documents. They don't let you speak to the doctor unless you make an appointment. I asked repeatedly to get a medical letter to help with the appeals, which took months of daily phone calls (with apathetic staff) and appointments (which were of course charged to my insurance as visits). During these appointments, he came in for approximately 5 mins and I would struggle to get a word in, because he is too busy listening to himself talk. He promised me a medical letter, which he never wrote. I was slammed with thousands in medical bills because the appeals were all denied.

He and his staff are incompetent and will yes you to death and never follow through on their commitments. Many of my doctors who have repeatedly requested test results and other related paperwork never receive them after being told they would send them. He has lost his affiliation with multiple hospitals for non cooperation. STAY AWAY FROM HIM.

Stay away ! Was seeing him for 18 yrs and watched as he went from being good to running an assembly line. Don't go to Bayside office on procedure days, you will wait. He severely undertreated my crohns disease and have I've suffered years of pain and agony because of it. Not enough room here to tell of all the screw ups but my new doc says most docs under treat crohns. He likes to pack in the colonoscopys as that's what brings the benjamins. Don't end up like me......please

I have been going to dr. Esposito for several years and I have several friends that go as well. dr. Esposito himself is a very good and knowledgeable doctor-main reason I kept going. his FRONT DESK staff on the other hand are rude and don't not respond to calls or inquiries. particularly, Adriana, his main secretary. I will be picking up my medical records from his office this week as I rather go to an office that is efficient and friendlier. and to a doctor that cares if his patient is upset!
