Dr. Stephen Duplechain, MD

I dreaded going in for a routine colonoscopy as much as everyone else. Upon entering, I was greeted by the receptionist. I was called to the back after waiting a few minutes. Dr. Duplechain’s nurse was so nice and explained everything. Dr. Duplechain and the anesthesiologist came in and also introduced themselves. Both had a good sense of humor. I felt like they really cared about me being comfortable. After the procedure, Dr. Duplechain explained the results to my husband and me. I was in and out in 1.5 hours. Someone from Dr. Duplechain’s called the next day to check on me. Definitely 5-Star treatment!

This was my first time seeing Dr Duplechain. Everyone was so friendly and prompt. It was a very good experience. I would definitely recommend this team.

From scheduling to the end of the procedure everyone was efficient, friendly and made you feel comfortable!

I was scheduled for a colonoscopy and it went well the doctor explain the results to me and I was so happy everything turn out good will visit him for another issue soon hope he could find out the cause of my stomach pain he is such a wonderful doctor I would recommend him to my family and friends

Drs either have a great bedside manner, or don’t. I have really had a chance to sit and talk, but the reg Dr referred me there due to the vomiting and bleeding. The latter from the other end. I have SLE Lupus, and had to do each part separate. The biopsies were negative for both. But, it was months before I could get the vomiting under control. I lost a lot of weight and can only think it was due to a lot of inflammation in my stomachs area. The most horrible thing I’ve had since the diagnosis. There’s this trickle type blood and biopsy was ok Did remove polyps from the area that hurts. And biopsied that area. I go in a few weeks to discuss where we go from here. But, his work staff!!!! So nice! They can make or break a Dr. On top of my a “hard stick” I do have a medical port just for that reason, but for this type of procedure it’s not warranted. If nurses can laugh at what they do day in and day out; then I’m in the right place ??

Everyone in the office is professional and courteous. Dr Duplechain is very knowledgeable about my problem and had a plan. The nurse called me back with planned procedure and explained the details and why I needed to do before and after. I feel very comfortable about I have to do and what to expect. Dr Duplechain also explained each step of my care. All professional. I have recommended him to several friends.

Dr. Duplechain listens and has time to discuss with what is going on. Is compassionate. He found a sign of cancer at base of my 45 yr. old daughter as she was having issues and was caring and wonderful.

I am getting comfortable with Dr. Duplechain’s practicing methods as he treats me. My medical needs are being taken care of, and I have seen a significant improvement since I’ve been under his care. The staff was helpful and knew their job. Doctor has good bed side manners & knows his job.

He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain to his patients about their condition and medications. He really cares about his patients. I am very happy to have him for my dr.and highly recommend him.

I first met Dr Duplechain when he treated my husband who was helicoptered to the hospital in an emergency. He took his time to explain everything in a way that I could understand. When my own gastric issues required a specialist, I didn’t have to think twice. I remembered Dr. Duplechain, his knowledge and kindness. He helps me while I learn to live with my diagnosis. He has my trust in his abilities as a gastroenterologist. And I am grateful for his empathy which makes our communication regarding my medical issues much easier.
