Went for my thumb . I have been to him for other stuff as well . The whole staff ( especially Audrey) is super friendly. Always smiling and helpful. Dr. Gets to the bottom of what is really going on . He listens to your issues and doesn’t just brush u off .

Dr. DeYoung is a very professional, caring, and thorough hand doctor that knows what he’s doing! He’s very patient and really LISTENS to your concerns; he’s sincere, honest, understanding, and goes out of his way to ensure that you receive the best care! Dr. DeYoung is the only hand doctor that I trust and I would recommend him to all of my family and friends!

Dr. De Young always took the time to talk with me and explain my situation. He never rushed me. He explained the pros and cons of surgery and his recommendations. He and his staff were always very courteous and caring.

When you walk in the lobby, his staff is super nice and makes you feel at ease. I have been seeing Dr De Young for over 12 years and he has help me a lot with my knee pains. He very easy to talk to and takes all the time you need to answer your questions. His nurse Audrey and office rep Daisy are very sweet. Always a good experience. My whole family sees him. I highly recommend him.

Dr. DeYoung makes you feel like an old friend coming to visit. He takes time to listen, he asks questions, and asks for feedback. The advice and treatment he offers has always been absolutely spot-on. I wish there were more doctors like him.

I continue to rely on Dr DeYoung for my orthopedic work. He explains things thoroughly and takes time to be sure I understand. He also is careful to take time for pain deadening medicine to take effect before beginning any treatment that requires it.

Actually, we had no visit except by phone. He has continued to consult with me while admitted in a hospital to make sure that things are done according to protocol and good medicine. What is extraordinary is that Dr De Young does not have to do the things that he has done to follow-up with me, but he has.

Dr DeYoung carefully listened to me as he questioned me about how my shoulder and left elbow were feeling. He noted my progress as I placed my right arm in various positions . He talked to me about the different ways he could treat my sprain-strain. One was to see how it progressed over the next few weeks . I decided to go with that because I was not in any real pain. Dr DeYoung always takes the time to question, listen and explain options and, based on his years of experience , come up with ways to treat the injury. He is very thorough.

Dr DeYoung takes the time to really explain what bud going on with any complaint, what will work and what won’t. He acknowledges the patient has a brain in his/ her head and should be treated that way. I am very happy with him

Suffering stiffness and pain from bone-on-bone in my right knee. Dr. DeYoung suggested a steroid injection, and that solved the problem! But Dr. DeYoung clearly reminded me that this treatment would last an undetermined amount of time - days or weeks or months - and I might need a subsequent injection.
