Loved Dr Chang!
He was a gem of a doctor! Clam and patient with me -a wonderful bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to others. He was prepared and timely and wasn’t rushing me through my questions.

I visited Dr. Chang when I was extremely sick. He performed a colonoscopy and diagnosed me with Crohn's. He then disappeared and wouldn't respond to calls or messages. He then called in a medication for me and told me that I couldn't take it. Then he called in about 10 other tests which had my body bruised and vomiting. It was almost 2 months after my diagnosis that he reached asking if he could put me on a medication. While I was in server pain, he didn't reach out or make me a priority. This doctor should not be practicing.

I was pretty nervous being my first colonoscopy and found Dr. Chang to have a great bed side manner. He had a good personality and spent a good amount of time explaining the procedure. He went out of his way to answer questions.

Dr. Chang has been my GI doctor since we met at Central DuPage Hospital in 2009 when I had to have my gallbladder removed. He is a kind, caring, and compassionate person and doctor. He truly cares about his patients and their well-being. When he left DuPage Medical I followed him all the out to Northwestern Hospital just because I am unwilling to see another GI doctor. He truly is the best of the best.

Met Dr. Chang 2 mins before my first colonoscopy. I got the impression that he could care less about me as a person he just wanted to get the job done and move on. I did not appreciate being blind-sided seconds before procedure with having to sign a Consent Form, still don't know what that was for. Called office 8 days ago, still no response. He also surprised me with a student in the room, And I had to find out on MyChart that I had a pre-cancerous polyp. No follow up from him, unacceptable!

This doctor misdiagnosed my daughter's left sided abdominal pain and massive GI bleed for over 2 years. She had classic pancreatic pain, but due to her age of teen/early 20's he just accused her of drug seeking. when we found a physician to take her complaints seriously, exploratory surgery was performed, and she had pancreatic cancer! Most of her pancreas, her gall bladder, and some lymph nodes had to be removed. She is still fighting the battle and complications almost 3 years later.
