I am at my 5 year mark after a diagnosis of advanced ovarian cancer and would not be here without Dr. Cannistra. After seeing many oncologists, he was the only one who got the diagnosis right and treated me with compassion, intelligence, and kindness. I am lucky to have found him.

He's probably excellent, but he yelled at me and my husband. Another ovarian cancer patient called me to talk about options and what I knew about what was going on in the field. He had yelled at her, too, but she was going to stay with him. It was OVCA. I'd recently been diagnosed and had surgery. I didn't need to be yelled at.
