I’ve gone here ever since I was small. My parents noticed that me and my brother had lazy eyes so they took us to Blaydes to get them corrected. They performed surgery on my brother and were successful! He’s had no problems since. My eyesight isn’t great, and he gave a prescription that corrected my eyesight AND my lazy eye! I trust him heavily. He always treated me kindly, and explained to me in a way that I could understand. The staff are incredible as well. :)

As a patient of the Blaydes Clinic for over 60 years and Dr. Stephen Blaydes since he has practiced, I must say I would go no where else. The staff is most professional, waiting time is minimal and every patient is treated with the utmost of care. Dr. Blaydes answers your questions thoroughly with detail one can understand. Care is taken to make certain your current and continuing optical health is addressed.

The Beckley office is so rude and hard to schedule an appointment with, that after 3 months of being treated like animals, we decided to go to another doctor to have cataracts removed from both eyes. We accomplished in 2 and a half weeks getting done with another doctor, what we couldn't get done in 3 months with Dr. Bla ydes office. With his rude, uncaring office staff, it amazes me that he still operates an office in Beckley,WV.

Dr Blaydes has done 2 sucessful eye surgeries on my left eye. I am glad to have him.as my Dr. I have had in my early years abunch of surgeries by his father and Grandfather. I keep my Trust in the Blaydes Family.

I went to is father and continued seeing him. I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Blaydes. I had RK surgery on both eyes years ago and had developed cataracts in both eyes. I had been told by another doctor that surgery for the condition would be difficult, as conformed by Dr. Blaydes. After Dr. Blaydes operated on my right eye, the results were instantaneous. I could see clearer, and drive without my glasses after the patch came off No problems.
