NO BED SIDE MANNERS
saw Dr. Beneck for an EMG. He entered the room as I was completing paperwork. He snatched the clipboard from me and said 'Let's get started'. He abruptly told me to get on the table. I said 'I'm sorry I did not get your name' He just mumbled 'Beneck'. I asked if I should tell what I felt. He said, 'You can but it doesn't make a difference'. I asked 'how badly the test hurt. He abruptly said, 'How bad do you want it to hurt?'. I am not sure who upset him but it was not me. No patient should ever be treated abruptly and rudely. As he was testing he would abruptly move my legs about. As he pressed the probe deeply into my leg, he never told me it would hurt nor did he seem to care. I needed to pose my toes up or down on part of the test. I did not know what the procedure was. He simply grunted, 'Down or up'. I did not know what he meant the first time he mumbled 'down'. I did not know to move my foot. he reached back and pushed my foot down. I am glad I only needed to see him for a test

I came to Beneck with injuries from being in an accident and he passed me around his office as if I was a dollar sign for all the doctors he works with. He gave me countless medications that did literally NOTHING. I’m not sure if he thought that I was faking an injury because I’m young but I now need surgery. This should have been taken care of by him during the 5 months he was “treating” me! Beneck failed me. I’m currently losing a lot of money because of his failure. Absolutely furious!
