Sad
This guy fits the bill well with the horror stories about IME Dr's and workers comp. I swear IME Dr's need to be shut down or monitored very closely somehow. If I could leave zero stars I would

March, 2019 was sent to this physician -requested IME by DOL ( I am federal employee). Extremely curt, military-like attitude. Was angry at the large volume of my file (750 pages). This guy is a company man= works for insurance company, in this case, DOL. Mocking and smirking describe his demeanor well. Barely did an exam but he's smart.........I have no doubt he knew there was a major problem with my shoulder. He knows how to document things so more likely that folks won't challenge him. His conclusive report was " I could return to work, no restrictions".... Mine was a W/C case that was initiated in 10/2017; he was the second IME I was asked to see because DOL will do whatever they can to get out of responsibility and they generally succeed in the broken system. My story concludes that I waited for his report= allowed DOL to release me. Pursued through my insurance co. and 4 mons later had expert surgeon- WITH A MORAL COMPASS- repair rotator, bicep, labrum, humeral head.BEWARE

I was injured in a semi roll over and saw this person( I refuse to call him a doctor) as an IME. He was rude and mocked at my lack of memory due to a head concussion. He caused me unnecessary pain during his so called exam, and smirked along with his staff as I tried to hobble out! His exam was full of lies so now I am not able to receive medical help for now.

I concur with the other reviews. I encountered this doctor (I’m not convinced he really is one) for an IME just today. I don’t know what his findings will be, but I told him his questions weren’t relevant to why I was there and as I was leaving I expressed how upset I was that it had become clear that the whole appointment had nothing to do with helping to alleviate my pain but because the insurance company didn’t want to pay for treatment anymore.

Has zero integrity as a medical professional. The hippocratic oath he took has been bought out by auto insurance companies, and regardless of your injuries, his report will list you as perfectly fine.

Dr. Barron has horrible bedside manners. I suffer from whiplash and muscle spasms from surviving a rollover two months ago. This crab of a doctor asked me if my legs hurt or my arms hurt, which are not my chief complaints. I see a chiropractor for my neck and back pain. He rudely asked me if I had a high school education, I told him yes, plus I have a college degree. He then responded "What, a BS from the U"? I attended The College of St. Scholastica. He sold his soul to insurance companies.

I went for an IME appt. This exam was going to be recorded. He told me that I could not record the exam. It is our right to record. I showed him in writing. He said he didn't care. IF THIS DR BARRON WAS HONEST AND TRANSPARENT, HE WOULD CARE ABOUT A PATIENT AND GIVE AN HONEST EXAM.

I seen Dr. Barron on an IME basis after 3 back surgeries, the last one being a major anterior/posterior 2 level lumbar fusion, still have severe aching of back with severe fatigue. He stated in report I can climb ladders after I already was let go from my job for the fact I can not climb ladders! Very impersonal but then again it seemed he is paid for only the opinion the insurance company wants.
