Dr. Stephen Amann, MD

Dr Amann couldn't stay off his cell phone long enough for an understandable consult. He kept interrupting us or his own sentences to reach into his chest pocket, look at his cell phone and shut off the message. We also left with the impression he as telling us that for an 80 years old patient he was reluctant to do much to diagnosis or treat loss of bowel control. We are looking for a doctor who can leave his cell phone in his office during patient consults. Also, we have been playing phone tag with his office to get results of a fecal test. Even on days when I stayed home to be right by the phone - messages to call the office somehow ended up without me hearing the phone ring. It looks like the only way to get those results is to make an appointment, wait weeks or months and go into the office. If there is something that appears to need treatment or additional tests, why don't they just call to say we need to make appointment to come in. Or just leave message of no problem

He is a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Amann is an excellent Dr. I would highly recommend him.
