Dr. Stephanos Orphanidis, MD

I just saw this Doctor two days ago for the fear of me having pneumonia and he was the most insensitive person I’ve ever met and he didn’t care to listen what you had to say nor did he even treat me he didn’t bother to care about me throwing up and said i didn’t need a iv he failed to listen that i have a heart baby and im breastfeeding and i could not take the medication he provided me. I’m going to have a huge bill now for what? He did NOTHING for me and he was training a medical student i feel sorry for that girls future because he is the worse doctor ive ever met. How careless and inconsiderate tried to tell him my mom has cancer and just got radiation and he didn’t blink or listen immediately cut me off and said I’m discharging you and sending this medicine in you just caught a bug then i call to complain and the lady tells me he noted i have bronchitis but FAILED to tell me. Someone take his license find him a career he deserves because medical is NOT his profession.

Due to an injury at work, I had to go to the Emergency Room on Oct 16th. The pain in my upper neck, back, and shoulder was unbearable. When I was taken in to se Dr. Stephanos Orphandis I noticed the bed that he wanted me to lay on was at an inclined position. There was absolutely no way I could sit in that position so I asked if he could lower the bed so that I could lay on my side. He looked at me and rolled his eyes as though the request was silly. At that time, the only position I could lay in that somewhat lessened the pain was in the fetal position and on my left side. He only asked me a couple of questions and did not perform a thorough exam. It was as though he either hated his job, or simply did not want to be there. Finally he told me there was nothing wrong. I found out 2 days later that I had a dislocated rib in my upper back, and I had to have it popped back in. Not only was Dr. Stephanos Orpandis extremely rude, but he misdiagnosed me as well. Doctor left my wife in agony in the ER on the 14th into the 15th. She had to have her jaw manually closed under conscious sedation. She waited for the Dr to come back in her room for 30 minutes after the procedure but he never did. Finally close to the hour mark she asked the nurse for something for the pain. The nurse came back and told her that he said no, but she can have a ice pack. How was that decision made without physically checking on my wife himself? He lacks the caring, understanding, sympathy, and empathy to be a doctor, let alone a ED doctor. A formal complaint has been made against him.
