Surprise bill
I was told that this office works well with insurance companies to get what patients need. It would’ve been nice to know that my insurance denied the submitted claim for orthotics. This was in November in 2022. In May of 2023 I received a bill from this office for $600. If I’d known my insurance had denied the claim, I wouldn’t have had the doctor go through with the order. I feel deceived and not very happy with my surprise bill.

I called to make a patient an appointment and the unprofessional young lady who answered the phone was very rude and hung up on me after she put me on hold. I would have liked to have taken my patient to Dr. Spicer but I will not because of that young lady.

The nurses are friendly and great at their jobs. Dr. Spicer is top notch. She is the total package. She is smart, professional and knows her field inside and out. And her bedside manner is the icing on the cake. I could chat with her all day.

Dr. Spicer is OUTSTANDING, as well as her staff. Her support team is extremely thorough in seeing you immediately, processing your medical information and capturing details about your foot issues. Dr. Spicer explains your condition in simple terms you can easily understand, provides you with detailed take-home instructions to help healing and is exceptionally professional. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Spicer has excellent bedside manner. She listened to my issues extremely well, answered all of my questions and clearly explained my options and her plan for care. It was a wonderful experience overall. The office staff were just thorough and excellent. I will definitely use her again and refer other to her.

Dr. Spicer has been a practicing podiatrist and board certified foot and ankle surgeon for over 20 years.  She is a wife and mother of two sons.  She is a proud Michigan State Alumni and is from the suburban Detroit area.
