Dr. Schaefer is thorough and a caring doctor!

Dr. Schaefer is an amazing Doctor. Her bedside manner is top tier. She sits and she listens to questions and concerns and always has a solution to a problem. Her kindness and empathy is clearly natural.

Dr. Schaefer is very professional, polite, kind and understanding. Very knowledgeable. She takes the time to answer questions. She put me at ease. Great Doctor and Medical Assistants!! 100% recommned!

I've been seeing Dr Schaefer for about 4 years and I'm so glad I found her! The office staff has always been friendly and wait times are reasonable. I'd say average wait time is usually 30 min or less, but occasionally more, as is typical for an OBgyn office. Besides being experienced, knowledgeable and thorough, Dr Schaefer is kind, compassionate, and easy to talk to. She's a patient listener and communicates clearly. Our visits never feel rushed. I appreciate that she takes the time to enter visit notes as well as available test and lab results into the patient portal.

Dr.Schaefer treated me very rudely and made me uncomfortable during my entire visit. Upon meeting Dr.Schaefer in the medical room Dr.Schaefer gave me the worst attitude I’ve ever received from an OB GYN. I tried to elaborate about a few concerns that resulted in my visit and she literally interrupted me mid sentence and told me to be quiet and give her a second until she gets to that part of her checklist .finally when I was allowed to speak about my concerns she proceeded to look at me in disgust while I spoke of my worry of having skin cancer. When I showed the Dr. my skin and in comparison to pictures in my phone the Dr. looked in my phone and proceeded to go through my pictures and said cute cat this might be the cause of infection and then apologized for going through my pictures, she then recommended I visit a doctor of COLOR due to her not being educated on Melanated skin and stated people of color have different conditions regarding the skin then people who aren’t color.

Dr. Schaefer is understanding, relatable, empathetic and explains thoroughly.

CAUTION!!!! Extremely long wait times.... She seemed knowledgeable and has the potential to be a great doctor but she may be overloaded and didn't have the time. not the best bedside manners but she was kind. I felt she rushed after she had to take a call so I couldn't actually benefit from this visit nor give it another shot because I value my time way to much. mind you i waited in the exam room 55 mins waiting on her, the overall appointment time was 4.25 hours... just to give you an ideal. not high risk no health issues....js

I have seen Dr.Shaefer once and I already know I like her for my first pregnancy ! I had a doctor who would not ask me if I had any questions or concerns and Dr. Shaefer is the complete opposite ! She even showed me how to place pillows so that I wouldn’t be laying in my back to sleep and it has helped tremendously!

This was my first time seeing Dr. Schaefer after my other doctor stopped practicing. She was very friendly and professional. It was very easy to talk to her. She also gave me great information & recommendations. The appointment also didn’t feel too long or rushed. I never want to be in that room for very long anyways, so I appreciated that as well.

I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for Dr. Schaefer. After two miscarriages I met Dr. Schaefer and from our very first appointment I knew I found a great doctor. She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. She gave me a plan to help me reach my dream of becoming a mother. It was not over night but eventually I did become pregnant and let me tell you that was only the beginning. At 21 weeks I almost lost my little one due to IC. I was terrified but Dr. Schaefer rushed to the OR and in the most calming way ensured me she would do all she could to help me and my baby. With joy at 37 weeks we welcomed our sweet little boy. Dr. Schaefer has been amazing. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a OBGYN that truly will listen to you and take your concerns seriously. I know I made the right choice in choosing her to be my OBGYN and I can’t wait for her to care for me and our next little one when the time is right.

Dr. Schaeffer is the most attentive gynecologist I have ever been to. She gave me a full hour of her time for a new patient visit. Before my well woman exam she spent time talking through my history and asking about my concerns. The actual exam was comfortable and Dr. Schaeffer was sure to explain and answer all my questions. She was super friendly, knowledgeable and just cared for me as a patient. I did have to wait an hour past my appointment time to see her, but her staff advised me she was running behind schedule and her bedside manner and excellent care made the appointment worth the wait. I have searched for quite some time to find such a personable doctor and I am very pleased with her care.

Just had my first visit with Dr Schaefer and I was extremely happy with the interaction. She was VERY thorough with her questions about my background and history, and was very interested to understand my concerns with issues I have. She very quickly put me at ease with her manner and delivery, and I did not feel judged in any way - I feel like that is a huge plus in today's world. Her assistant was equally friendly and easy to talk to, so overall it was a great experience. While there was a bit of a wait to be seen, it was not out of line with other Dr's I see. In my head, it just means that they're spending quality time with patients, as she did with me, and not rushing thru their appts.

I could not have found a better OB. She is just amazing. Never made me feel dumb for the questions I asked. Always answered and showed compassion for my concerns. She always reassured me through my entire pregnancy and after. Absolutely loved her!!

Dr. Schaefer has been my GYN for roughly three years now and I am so grateful to have her! She is so patient and understanding. She takes the time listen and explain any and everything that is going on, but most importantly she makes me feel 100% comfortable. I currently live in Dallas, TX and drive just to see Dr. Schaefer. I absolutely love her!
