She expertly diagnosed me via different tests that I now have a new condition, but recommended to continue physical activity and watch my diet.

Fortunate no Longer my Cardiologist
Very lackadaisical doctor. During the annual 15 minute visit, had no idea what medicines was taking. Spent 10 of the 15 minutes chitchatting with the Fellow. Switched care to new cardiologist who discovered a 90% blockage at the top of the LAD. Also, can you imagine in this day they do not have a patient portal. You have to email and hopefully get a response.

I have been to heart specialists in several states. There is no one like Stephanie Coulter anywhere! Her "spot on" diagnosis, connections to the best doctors in any field and ability to have them by you side immediately is unbelievable! She views you as a cohesive whole and understands the linking of symptoms between various organs. She has guided my complicated medical incidences with precision and kindness with spectacular results! I consider her my brilliant doctor and caring friend!

I waited 3 hours to be seen. I do not mind waiting 30-40 minutes at times because I understand things can happen, but 3 hours is unacceptable for someone with a job to wait like that. Overall it took about 4 1/2 hours out of my day. When I was seen, she did not really listen to what my main concerns were, and kept comparing my situation to the patient next door and her family members. Was not the professionalism that I needed from a doctor and will not be going back.

Outstanding doctor, saved my wife's life after she went into cardiogenic shock. Very dedicated to her patients and explains things well. We had a cardio doctor in Pasadena, but I just didn't feel comfortable with his hospital, not him. I decided that if anything happened to my wife it would happen at the medical center. I wanted a doctor that specialized in the female heart and after reading reviews, we ended up at the Texas Heart Institute and Dr. Coulter.

Dr. Coulter, what to say, as an RN, she is amazing. She really knows her stuff and does not talk down to you. is there a wait yes, and any cardiologist that you don't have to wait on isn't worth a dime. It's hard to understand but she has hospitalized very sick patients and when she is needed she has to go. If you need her she will go. Everyone is happy to pay 10 dollars so Doctors have to over book. My boss pays more in Malpractice ins. then my Salary, and has not been sued. If she seems scattered its because she is thinking faster then she can say it. yes you will wait yes, she seems everywhere but she is with you when she is in that room and if you have a heart problem, you want her on it.
