Dr. Stephanie Byrum, MD

I'm pleasantly pleased with meeting Dr. Bryum. She is solid. I felt secured and safe with her. She was mindful about my hearing loss and wore a clear mask so I can lipread her n understand her expressions. She used visuals to explain my medical diagnosis. She was attentive and didn't rush. She was respectful and kind.

Explained everything and she listened to my concerns.

I referred my mother to Dr. Byrum for a second opinion. I was an employee at the time at Banner MD Anderson. Only to find how aggressive and rude she was to the staff. I personally experienced Dr Byrum screaming at me in a rude an direpectful manner. Banner condones this behavior and covers for her. Dr Byrum conducts herself in rude and unprofessional manner. I was advised by RN mngmt the cancer center, this is the way surgeons act. I've worked 20 +years, never had a surgeon be direpectful.

I would with out a doubt recommend her to family and friends. It’s been now almost 5 years since my first meeting with her. She is thoughtful, professional, and knowledgeable

Dr. Byrum's warmth, patience and compassion was a constant throughout what could have been a very stressful time. She clearly communicated throughout the entire process and her temperament together with her skillful hands allowed me to have complete confidence in the outcome. I was not disappointed. I definitely would, and have, recommended her.
