Dr Sweitzer filled in for my original urologist who was unable to make my scheduled lithotripsy. Dr. Sweitzer thoughtfully reviewed my chart and history, contacted a previous surgeon for clarification about a discrepancy, and explained the procedure thoroughly. I was told I would be having a laser procedure and another stent but he was able to use ultrasound to break up the stones and not require a stent. He was professional and kind.

24 years ago Dr. Sweitzer told me & my sons, he was 99.9% sure what he seen on a x-ray of my kidney was cancer, & surgery was needed. After surgery, at my 1st follow-up visit, Dr. Sweitzer walked in to the room, said hello, I said hello back, and then he told me "you were a b!+<h, a real b!+<h!" I was stunned and asked what I did for him to say that. He gave no response & walked out. Said the same thing at 2nd visit. I'm left with a huge scar, and football size rupture on rt. side. NO recommend

Dr Sweitzer had been my urologist for over 10 years.I have had both testicles removed all he has to do is write prescriptions.but this has become an ordeal. Faxes from pharmacies are lost , approvals take forever. Internal staff coordination is the biggest problem. Today after multiple procedural snafus, I was told that Doctor was upset with me and I should change doctors. So much for his hippocratic oath.
