Extremely Thorough
Our whole family has seen Dr. Chou at some point, and the ones that have not moved away still do on a regular basis. We have all received excellent care from her and her staff. Dr. Chou is very thorough with her exams, and while she could appear a bit “rough around the edges” to some patients, she is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and willing to answer questions. She will also work you into her schedule in a moment’s notice, and she will return your call personally on the same day if she is able. We really appreciate her competence and that of her staff as well. Definitely would recommend her and those who work with her.

She took a phone call in the middle of my exam. Very unprofessional. I felt like my eye exam wasn't in the least bit important. I'll never go back

An ER doctor recommended Dr. Chou to us many years ago when our son was hit in the eye with a soccer ball. She worked us in immediately. Since then, our family has been going to see Dr. Chou for various eye issues. We have always had a great experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and Dr. Chou is genuinely caring and thorough. We always leave feeling that we have received the best care. I highly recommend Dr. Chou.

I recently was hit in the eye with a pickleball and Dr. Chou was willing to see me immediately. She diagnose my injury and prescribe the appropriate medication and treatment. She also had a bedside manner about her that made me feel I was in good hands and and that she would do everything she could to to treat my eye and prevent further damage. This meant so much to me.

Fantastic ophthalmologist! Professionable, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was thorough and engaging. The only issue I had was in understanding her occasionally as she has a strong accent at times.

Disorganized/unprofessional. Have had to wait over an hour each time for appointments and then she repeats tests/exams from previous appointment because her & staff cannot find records. She answers personal phone calls while with patients. Does not give clear indication of what is the next steps as she/staff loses notes from exams/tests. Told to buy reading glasses from her office - were cheap plastic ones that broke w/i 2 days. Refuse to provide invoices/statements of service too. Horrible

Not hygienic.Contact removal=screaming pain.Told it was blepharitis.Paid f/up visits for something CHRONIC?permanent.Questioned Chou; she became angry.Went elsewhere & learned NOT blepharitis!Pain from tearing tissue off eye!Told I should return wrong contacts for refund.Chou would not return calls.Went in person & told ?been too long? to return unopened boxes that expire 3 yrs from now! $$$ & INANE visits for blepharitis, not returning calls is why ?too long? Pd $500+ for unnecessary trauma.
