Dr. Steffan Tolles, MD

Dr Tolles has been my primary care doctor for many years. He used to be very good. I have had some new health issues over the last year & asked him repeatedly for a referral to a specialist which he would not do, just saying that I was fine. Repeatedly complained about the same physical issues but instead of testing or researching to diagnose & treat my problems, he just gave me pills to deal with the effects. During my annual physical this summer, I thought I could discuss some issues with him (isn’t that what it’s for??) & was wearing a brace on my wrist. He asked what was hurting me most & I told him my wrist. The whole appointment was extremely rushed & he didn’t even look at my wrist! I was told to make another appointment if I wanted to discuss anything else & then only one issue can be addressed. Very disappointed. Seems like he just wants to retire.

He has a medical background but will converse with you like an old friend, not talking over your head. I enjoy his personable manner. Hopefully he isn't planning retirement anytime soon. His diagnostics have kept me ticking for my 76 years!

I’ve been going to Dr Tolles for over 17 years. I get a yearly physical and also see him if something comes up. If he can’t take care of something, he’ll recommend a great specialist to see. He’s definitely one of the best you’ll ever see. Very friendly and has a great bedside manner.

You won't even get to see him when you visit his office. It will just be a nurse. When they failed to figure out what was wrong, Tolles just hid in the back and refused to see me or answer questions. He was happy to send me a $500 bill, however.

I have been with Dr Tolles for over 10 years. I am 65 years old with several medical issues. He always listens to me and if he doesn’t have an answer or doesn’t specialize in a certain health issue, he doesn’t hesitate to make a referral to someone who does. Unlike some Doctors who think they know everything and will go ahead and treat you inappropriately or ignore your issue. Dr Tolles is easy to talk to, doesn’t judge and even has a sense of humor! I dread the day he retires.

Tolles doesnt listen to his patients. I asked about alternative medication for pain(cannabis), and berated me. I havent had any issue with staff they have always been good.

Dr. Tolles was my doctors office on call physician, I reached out due to a friend I was with who tested positive for Covid from a home test. When I expressed my concerns about myself and others being exposed, with no questions asked he said it was probably a false positive, when I asked 3 times why he thought that he wouldn’t answer me. He was completely out of it. I said can you wake up enough to listen to me and he hung up on me!!! The most unprofessional Dr. I’ve ever had in my life!. I will be turning him into every agency I can! Wow , and he’s a doctor ???????

When I was around 9 years old during a check up, he asked that I removed my pants and underwear to “make sure I was developing properly.” He asked my dad to leave the room.

Dr. Tolles has been my family doctor for over 20 years. He's very thorough in his approach to your healthcare by analyzing blood work and other testing and suggesting vitamins, herbs, or medications that will keep the numbers where they should be. He listens to your input completely before analyzing and considering treatments.

Dr Tolles has been my Primary Care Physician for many years. He listens to what you have to say and is concerned with the Medical Treatments he provides.

Dr Tolles always kind, caring and very helpful. We are very happy with him and his team.
