Dr. Stefan Nemeth, MD

Dr. Nemeth has always listened to (and answered) all of my questions. I'm so comfortable with him that, when my daughter turned 18, she started going to him and likes him, as well. I'm also on psych meds and he was very clear that he would not deal with my psych meds, which I have immense respect for. I also wanted to change my migraine meds and he told me he would normally be comfortable doing so but referred me to a neurologist due to potential interference with my psych meds. I have never felt that all of my concerns weren't listened to or addressed. Don't get me wrong - he never just pawns me off on another provider but will find me another provider if he feels someone else will better suit me. He will assertively treat anything I come in for (sinus infections, bronchitis, ear infections, etc). He's never shied away from ordering tests or made me feel like any of my concerns aren't worth following up on (as many doctors have).

So I went to this doc with an ear problem. He examined the affected/infected ear canal. Then he took the same otoscope and looked in the unaffected ear. So in fact he was providing the potential for the transfer of bacteria/virus from the bad ear to the good ear. That’s really some basic stuff. Worrisome for a physician not to know better

Dr Nemith is a Great Doctor always takes the time answer any questions and always makes you feel at ease when you come to him for any health problems.

Keeps his back turned to you. Talks to your file. Doesn't answer questions. He did back into my backside,spin and listen to my lungs once. He didnt review my 10 years of files. Didnt know about existing conditions. Told me to come back and asks why I come back. Doesn't not explain what he is testing for. Doesn't share test results. I quit this doc after 4 appointments and lost 10 years of medical files with Dupage Med. Grp. and this guy. Do not trust his decisions. Good nurse. That's why 2 stars

A great doctor, very smart. The wait is a pain and DuPage Medical group is awful, but can't leave a bad review for him because of that.

Great doctor! I highly recommend Dr. Stefan Nemeth. He really takes his time to get to know his patients and is very thorough. I like how he is not so quick to just write a prescription but he really takes the time to try and figure out your problems. He is big on encouraging nutrition and healthy living. He has a very caring personality and is easy to talk to.

I like Stefan alot. His nurse is awesome. Unfortunately the medical group is terrible. On hold forever for appointments or results. Billing questions take 2-3 days to answer.

He listens to concerns, he promotes a healthier lifestyle, and he truly does care about his patients. He is not in and out! He takes the time out for each patient.
