Uncaring and unprofessional
My wife went for a consult, to have follow up of tests performed in Cleveland. He flat out refuses to see you if you’ve been to another GI doc, EVER. How can he call himself a doctor?? Read the Hippocratic oath!

Made an appointment to see this doctor and was told it would be seven months before he could see me. Went in on my schedule day and was told I wasn't on the schedule anywhere. Couldn't see him for three more months. Rescheduled and one week before that appointment I was called and told he would not be in the office that day with no explanation why. told me it would be another month before he could see me. Rude staff who are all fill-ins, floaters, or temporaries from what they told me. Sounds like they are cherry picking their patients.

Not recommended- office staff very rude
Office staff is extremely rude. Very unprofessional. Dr does not return phone calls in a timely manner. Practice discharged my husband in the middle of diagnostics because I assertively advocated for my husband. Very disappointed.

Dr. Sarbah made me feel very comfortable on my 1st visit. He was kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and thorough. He didn't "talk down" to me but explained everything in easy to understand terms. He allowed me to say what I needed without interruption, which is rare. He He seems genuinely committed to helping people with compassion and asks all questions that might help in diagnostics. I have seen other GI doctors in Knoxville but none have come close to DR. Sarbah. It sometimes takes a while to get an appointment but the wait is worth it if you can afford to do so. I would recommend Dr. Sarbah to anyone with digestive issues.

Dr. Sarbah is a God send to field of liver disease. Through my initial diagnoses of cirrhosis he was the one doctor who saw 'me' and knew I was scared and needed someone kind and knowledgeable. He always greets me with a smile, makes eye contact and listens with intent, presents a game plan, and gives me the confidence to stay strong. He has used his outstanding knowledge to help guide me down the correct medical path. He genuinely cares and I couldn't ask for more!

Dr. Sarbah has changed my life. After seeing another doctor for over 20 years and that doctor giving me hope I was very discouraged. Dr. Sarbah had me back into remission in a few months that the other doctor could not do in 20 years. He is an excellent and caring doctor. I have never met another doctor like him. I am so blessed to have found him. You will be thankful if you chose to see him!

Dr. Sarbah is excellent and has exceptional interaction with the patient. He listened well, made eye contact throughout our conversation (instead of looking at & typing the electronic medical record). He provided a thorough explanation of my conditions& the planned procedure. The most valuable thing he said was “we need to consider the whole person- not just the GI part.” I felt so fortunate to have been referred to this outstanding Christian physician.

Very poor excuse for a doctor. I almost died in his care at Dorn VA Hospital in Columbia, SC due to his arrogant disregard for veterans and his poor skills and lack of knowledge. If I had not been taken by ambulance to a public hospital because Dorn was full and over capacity I surely feel I would have died in this mans care. Beware!

I am still to this day having problems getting the proper information to my insurance company that they need. They have called numerous times, I have called and left messages a few times and neither of us has had any luck. When you call you are sent to a voice to leave a message, but I wonder if anyone listens to them. I just need him to tell my insurance company why I was out June 14th to July 6th with Crohn's. The office staff and I believe this falls back on Dr Sarbah are not at all helpful

DR. SARBAH IS AN EXCELLENT AND CARING GASTROENTEROLOGIST WHO PERFORMED AN ESOPHAGOGASTRODUODENOSCOPY ON ME, REMOVING POLPYS WITH BIOPSIES, WITH ABSOLUTELY NO SIDE EFFECTS OF ANY KIND. I EXPECTED A SORE THROAT FROM THIS PROCEDURE BUT I NEVER GOT ONE. DR. SARBAH KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
