I am a teenager and I was treated like an ignorant child when I got there. They refused to give me a skin cancer screening check and threw unnecessary products at me, saying I needed them-they tried to charge me over $100 for a vitamin C cream when I can just buy vitamin C supplements at the store. Very poor service and they do take advantage of their customers. I will not be returning.

Friendly staff and friendly Dr. Normally I don't look forward to going to any Dr.s appointment. This is one of the most welcoming offices I have ever been to.

At first she was excellent but then it went bad, they will try to take my money, they informed me in January that they r going to charge me $30 for each light therapy visit , I questioned it with her office since prior yr I was not charged $30 for each therapy session, checked with my insurance and was told they would pay 100% like the yr before, and was told that her office was the one charging me since they would pay 100%, her office was going to rip me off approx $90 per week,.

If you have a MarketPlace Insurance, make sure you source your own In State Lab and take their info with you as The Cutting Edge sends their lab work to Dayton, OH and your MarketPlace Insurance will not pay for an out of state lab. I have suggested they source labs in the Tri-States and send the lab work to the one matching a patients home state, but we will see if they will go to this extra trouble for their patients.

Dr. Starnes was extremely thorough with my skin examination. She observed every inch so I feel confident that all possible skin cancers are addressed. She removed a few and suggested a blu light treatment for Actinic Kerotosis. I felt she really cares about my skin health. She also recommended some skin care products that are already improving my skin texture. She saved me time, money and the burden of skin cancer in the future.
