Don’t waste your time, find better care elsewhere
I don’t even know where to start. Cold, never on time, mocked me for trying to go through the wheelchair process, antiquatedly slow at responding even in emergency. I have severe allergies and some of the meds she prescribed changed formula and now include ingredients I’m allergic to. Dr Fowler dismissed me saying “I wouldn’t know if the alternatives contain that ingredient. Let me know if you want new prescriptions sent in.” I did the leg work understanding what I could potentially substitute and she took seven days after that message to finally send them in. I ended up in urgent care trying to find a solution and the Telehealth doc I saw was appalled that Dr Fowler responded in that way. Do NOT go to her for anything emergency or ever expect a quick response if you’re in crisis. Extremely disappointed that she is a medical professional at all. Will also be complaining to the practice, the hospital she works out of, and the state medical board. Shame on her.

She is one of the best primary care physicians
Dr. Fowler has helped me with my mystery illness when my previous doctors disregard it as nothing for years. She knew right away by my symptoms it was something more. Ordered labs and found brain herniation. Now, I have the right medications to get me through life better than I was before. She truly cares about her patients. She listens and is always there every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Fowler

Communication is key
Dr. Fowler listens, thoroughly answers questions, is easy to communicate with via patient portal, supports requests and has encouraged second opinions. Her staff is great. My husband and I have been patients of hers for six years.

Actually yes, it was Lyme.
First, I truly believe most doctors want to help, including Dr. Fowler. However, I did not feel like I was taken seriously. I presented with chronic fatigue, soreness, joint pain, neuralgia, etc. I mentioned a tick bite 7 years prior both in my notes & narrative, so I specifically requested a Lyme test in my diag, and on my follow-up you said "all labs were normal." I asked "including the Lyme test?" There was a pregnant pause, which I assume meant "I forgot" or "there's no way it's Lyme, so I didn't order one." I checked later, no ELISA/WB in my record. Rheumatoid & ANA? Yes. No Lyme tests. So I spent the next year of my life in pain and spiraling health - my symptoms escalated to air hunger (absolutely terrifying), dissociation, psychiatric issues (rage, depression, suicidal ideation), heart palpitations/arrhythmia, etc. Thank God I was urged to get a second opinion. CDC positive Western Blot after starting Doxy. Please LISTEN to your patients, you are supposed to be their advocate!!

Listens but has preconceived ideas of what your is
I am writing on behalf of myself and my daughter who both had Dr. Fowler as our primary physician. Dr. Fowler seems to choose to treat individual symptoms without considering the possibility that the multiple symptoms as a whole mean something. My daughter went in for significant debilitating pain in her neck and shoulder. She was prescribed muscle relaxers without any diagnostic care. She followed up a couple of weeks later as pills did not help and, fortunately for her, Dr. Fowler was not available. Her colleague requested an X-ray and it was found to be a form of aggressive sarcoma. I have been pretty healthy but I was finding that I was always tired and that was unusual for me. I woke up not feeling rested and naps did not help. I was told to not drink coffee first thing in the morning. Additional symptoms were provided but she gave me a 'fix' for each one without considering them as a whole. I was diagnosed later with something I feel she should have tested for.

Personally - I think she is incredible! I have had a bit of bad luck with doctors (understatement). I found her to be attentive and understanding. Spending time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. When I was in the emergency room on two separate occasions, her office called and checked in to see how I was doing. Not ONE of my previous doctors offices ever called. She has given me the referrals I needed and then checked in after the appointments. While not every doctor is perfect for everyone - I would recommend her a hundred times over.

Dr Fowler has always been attentive and knowledgeable about my concerns. If she can't get me in she will find someone who can see me. I'm 66, she's the best Dr I have ever gone to. As far as referrals go, she's great, manages them all making sure they take my insurance. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her as a primary Dr

Cold bedside manner, didn't seem to connect well with me at all. Her and her medical assistants always seemed annoyed/skeptical when I reached out, which was very rarely as I do not have any serious health conditions. I was consistently refused medications or lab work that I wanted to be done to have a better understanding and baseline of my health.

I have been going to Dr. Fowler for a couple of years and I can say that she is the MOST ATTENTIVE physician I have encountered in 68 years! She doesn't run a stopwatch when attending to patients and I find her to be very pleasant and kind. AAAAA+++++

Ok, the whole practice is a joke. I had a car accident that caused a serious neck injury and my doctors are recommending surgery. I'd like to see a another neck surgeon for a second opinion, but all are requiring a referral from my PCP. The earliest Centura Health can get me in is 3 weeks from now. Guess they don't understand the meaning of severe pain. Highly recommend you find someone else.

Went in for estrogen which I have taken many times before, she refused to give it to me. Instead I was to try other methods which I have tried. Does NOT work. She refused to fill the RX. Never be back!

As an RN, everytime I make an appt with the office it is coded wrong, lab slips are lost, annual exams scheduled wrong, tests not ordered, high turnover front desk staff. Dr. Fowler charges a premium. For a wellness exam she added on a complexity charge for refilling an Rx. I’m getting the bill 2 years later! It’s so disorganized and expensive it’s not worth the hassle.

I have a horrible cold and I have been attempting to make an appointment with Dr. Fowler for two days and have not yet spoken to an actual person to make an appointment. I just keep leaving messages that aren't getting a response. I get that offices are busy but please respond to people seeking an appointment for health concerns.
