Dr. Duchman is not only a top notch heart doctor, but he also shows personal concern for his patients. He spends the time to explain test results and answers all questions in an easy to understand manner. He not only balanced my medicines to keep me healthy, he also discovered two non-heart conditions and gave me exactly the referrals I needed to address them effectively. His bedside manner and personality are very reassuring and calming. I know I have excellent, proactive care.

Ditto to another review. My doctor referred me because he himself went to Dr. Duchman. And he is indeed by straightforward, answered all my questions and gave me confidence in his suggestions.

Very Thorough Top Notch Cardiologist
Dr. Duchman is very thorough in his exam and the tests he orders. Been going to him for years now. I also know other top notch Dr.s in the field that choose him as their cardiologist. He also has an easy, straightforward manner that is a bonus.

Stan himself is great and one of the most capable cardiologists in Houston. His staff has gotten better at Willowbrook Cardiovascular, but they have been a major problem in the past not answering the telephone, being curt, etc.

I have been trying for over a month to speak to a live person in the office. No one returns my calls. I haven't even been able to make an appointment because they let the calls go to voice mail and never respond. I hate to change doctors. I really like Dr Duchman. It seems that the front office may be trying to ruin his business. It is really a shame

Reluctant due to possible retaliation – Mar 06, 2020
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Duchman?
Dr Duchman is a very good but he needs to make a clean sweep of the front office help. They rarely answer the phone. I tried to two days to make an appt and finally drove to the office. They are totally unprofessional. When I do go for my appt., I will make him aware of numerous complaints on this website, including mine.

Friendly individual but that is about it. He always seems rushed to get you out of the office. Good luck trying to call for any reason, they do not answer the phone or return calls...which is a bad thing when trying to get a prescription refilled. It's so frustrating that I will be changing doctors.

Going Elsewhere – Feb 20, 2020
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Duchman?
Rudest most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered. I see lots of doctors as I have been in a continuous battle with ovarian cancer for 11 years. Rude, Rude, Rude. I do not expect them to chit chat with me but do expect them to be polite. This waiting area is freezing. Everyone had jackets on and woukd go outside to warm up. It was a miserable experience. I don’t think the doctors read the reviews.

Dr. Duchman is great, friendly, explains test, very personable. His office staff at the front desk is rude and unprofessional not only to staff coming in the front door but to hear all of their phone calls, they are rude to patients calling in. The medical staff are excellent including the lady who does the stress tests, the gentleman that does the scans, etc.

Dr. Duchman is great. The staff representing him on the phone and front desk lack customer skills. Eating while on the phone is bad, having a crunch to it is totally unacceptable! Yoga pants and a baby in an exersaucer behind the counter dropped the level of professionalism down on so many levels. Please do some housekeeping.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Duchman?
The doctor was great at explaining my condition, reasons for treatment/prescriptions etc. The reason for the low star rating is due to problems with unreturned messages and when calling his office you're more likely to get voice mail than a human. I've had to call several times for simple matters.
