ABSOLUTE Nightmare

I visited Dr. Mays office in late August as a new patient and immediately it turned into a money grab. Dr. Mays and his staff have a universal trait in common - none of them listen. Every time I tried to explain my concerns I would be cut off, talked over, and treated disrespectfully. Dr. Mays and his staff are very disrespectful of others’ time and they played a lot of games with me. Additionally, none of them are friendly, sincere, or have a caring demeanor toward sick people. My appointment was scheduled at 11, but he never showed. Instead his staff, LaKeisha, called me at 11:42 and told me the doctor would not see me (virtually) until I paid which was not previously discussed with me. Dr Mays staff dishonestly tried to turn what should have been 1 appointment into 4 to 5 appointments which proves this is a money grab and not any attempt whatsoever to help or heal me. Please don’t waste your time with these people.

No. I would not recommend Dr. Mays to anybody. I have taken my mother to Dr. May's office for several years. This is what have seen when I brought my mom to his office. I go into the examining room with her. He continues to prescribed the same medication without giving a blood test. For years, she would get medication for high blood pressure. We have had several blood test after coming to urgent care and her vitals would be fine, and her blood pressure would be normal. On another visit, he said he was prescribing her three (3) antibiotics. I asked why are you prescribing her three (3) antibiotics? He said "I already told her why. NOTE: I never left the room. Long story short he did not tell me why. He asked us did we have any more questions. I said "no" I will ask the pharmacist why are you prescribing my mom three (3) antibiotics. When I got there, he did not order the 3 antibiotics. She still had that high blood pressure medicine. Currently, she is no longer seeing Dr. Mays.
