Dr. Stacy Weiss, MD

This dr obviously had some judgements about my decision to be a single mom by choice. She seemed baffled that I was there to discuss infertility despite not having a partner. She said she was 'doing me a favor' by having this discussion with me because their clinic didnt do IVF. I made the appointment for IVF so not sure why they allowed me to schedule this. she also refused to provide care because my annual exam was one week out of date. When I offered to do the annual exam right then first she agreed. I made a comment under my breath that 'this feels contentious' because it was shocking to be treated this way by a doctor. She promptly replied that she didn't feel comfortable providing care and walked out of the room. I asked if she could kindly not bill my insurance for the appointment since she wasnt comfortable providing care. She replied that they would definitely be billing.

She is fantastic to work with! She delivered my first baby and has been my OB ever since. She has a way of making you feel like you aren’t at the doctors office and you are just chatting with a friend. Highly recommend!

I typically see her in the Buffalo Grove, IL Womancare office, on Busch Parkway. I feel very comfortable with her and trust her completely. She's very real and takes time to get to know you. She delivered my son almost 9 years ago and I hope to never have to change OB/Gyns.
