She is the worst. The first time my husband and I went to her she was training a young girl she spent less than 5 minutes for us both, she’s not though. I showed a spot on my eye brow she said it was ok. I let my hair down just so she could look at my scalp, she said she looked but she didn’t . Me and my husband decided we would drive 4 hours to Dallas to see our doctor in Texas because we know she is an excellent doctor and will never let us down, her name is Dr. Mariam Singer she has never disappointed us and spends as much time as we need to check from head to toe.

AVOID This Specialist
Booked initial appointment seven months in advance. Waited an hour and a half while other patients continued to walk in and get seen within 5 minutes of their arrival. Skip this clinic and look elsewhere. They have more clients than they are able to handle it seems.

Look at other providers.
Constantly running behind scheduled appointments. No concern about patients schedules, only hers. Doesn't matter how her tardiness impacts patients lives. She acts as though everything revolves her. Absolutely one of the more arrogant, haughty, self centered, egotistical persons in the Mercy Health system here in Oklahoma City. Mercy Healthcare would be much better off if they were to distance their association with her.

Long Wait, Lackluster Doctor
Saw her once and will never go back. Wait was incredibly long - close to 3 hours! EVERY person in the waiting room was seen before me even though many came in well after I arrived. Not impressed with her expertise or bedside manner. Her staff wasn't very friendly either. I was referred here by my Mercy doc; I told her it was a terrible referral.

Probably the worst run practice I have been too. No communication from the front desk that she was running over two hours behind. This was consistent with follow-up visits even when they were scheduled for early mornings. Second visit she didn’t show up for but had the PA see me. She totally misdiagnosed me, had do a bunch of lab work which Rougas then completely reversed on the next visit. Resulted in wasted time and expense for me yet still no resolution to my skin issues. Answer always seems to be try this and book another appointment which is always months out. I always had the feeling that they just wanted you to buy their other services not focus on medical issues. Told my primary doctor that this was the worst referral I have ever had and a huge disappointment within the Mercy system.

Rushed my visit, gave an erroneous diagnosis so she could bump off my preventative status so her private firm can bill me instead. Should stop practicing medicine and practice dealing with people first. This is why people don't trust doctors! Be the difference and be a good doctor.

Today I visited her office again, giving them the benefit of the doubt with my first visit! Again I waited 1 and a half hours in a freezing waiting room to finally be seen for 3 minutes! I was told to take my mask off for a photo so I left it off since I was the only one in the room! After her briefly looking at me she asked do you wear a mask? I stated when required, she said well in my office you will! Will not go back! The first visit was even worse! I sat in the waiting room for over two hours and people that came in a long time after me was seen first!

Only good part was wait time was short and desk staff seemed nice. I have a huge painful cyst. They got me into PA as its painful. She looked at it said we can't treat it, I will refer you somewhere else to have them look at it and here is a antibiotic to help with the inflammation. One antibiotics are for infection not inflammation. So she didn't address my pain at all nor the inflammation. I can't lay on my back nor lean back in a chair.. it throbs most of the time.. She said to make an appointment next week, then said no wait I won't have time to see you next week, don't make an appointment. I will call you next week to check on how its doing. Still haven't heard from her to check on me.

I had an appointment with Dr. Rougas that was scheduled 3 months out. The week prior to my scheduled time, I received a phone call letting me know they needed to cancel the appointment because she was moving offices. They would give me a call as soon as she got settled to reschedule. It has now been a month and I have not heard anything. I work in healthcare and know that no provider takes off a month. Apparently she doesn't need patients so chose someone else.

Made my appointment when I left last year. She is no longer part of Mercy as of Aug. 2020. Received a message my MyMercy reminding my appointment in Sept. Went for my scheduled appt. There was several people waiting in the waiting room and a few in line to check in. When it was my turn, I was told that I was not on the schedule. Told them I made the appointment last year. Response was apparently my record did not transfer over to whatever system she has now and that she was over an hour behind if I wanted to wait. NO. I will find someone else.

DO NOT COME SEE THIS LADY. She is very inconsiderate of people’s feelings and does not listen to the patient whatsoever. The whole appointment was rushed. I’ve been having problems with my skin for the past few years and instead of running a test she prescribed me a cream for something that she was unaware of. She did not acknowledge pictures I had or anything. When dealing with people’s health you have to be compassionate and listen and she lacks that!!!!!! So distraught and disappointed.

Called me to make sure I would be on time for apt made 5 weeks in advance. I showed up on time and they were 1.5 hours behind. Acted like I was rude for asking WTH. No call to let me know, and staff was rude about it. Waiting for Lori Porter(manager) to call me about this. Obviously by their demeanor and other review comments this is a common occurrence.

She was over an hour late for my appointment, no notice from her staff. Once she showed up she never came within 8 feet of me in the exam room, just stood by the door looked and walked out. The prescriptions she called in were wrong and the pharmacy tried calling for 3 hours and no one answered the phone for pharmacy questions. When she finally did call back and correct her multitude of errors (all 3 prescriptions were messed up) my pharmacist said she was rude and hateful.

Dr. Rougas is the most knowledgeable in the derm. medical profession. She immediately recognized my condition, treated it, & prescribed a cure R/X. Her staff were friendly; she came highly recommended by my friends who used her. Rougas also instantly treated 14 or more tags and skin issues while talking w/ me. You'll be glad you chose Rougas as your derm. doctor.

I was seen romptly. Felt like Dr. Rougas was very caring & considerate.& addressed every concern I had. I noticed people didn't like the length of time they were sometimes kept waiting but I discussed it with the doctor. She said, Karen, when someone's crying, I can't just walk out. I'm going to stay & address their fears. If they have cancer & it's something I can deal with it in the office, I'm going to handle it immediately so they don't have to worry about it longer. I really liked her

We've been taking our kid there for about a year and EVERY time we've had to wait over an hour to see her. We even made an appoinment for first thing in the morning, and still had to wait. They said that it's normal to wait 1-1.5 hour before being seen! That is an unacceptable practice. We all have to work and taking off a day for 10 min appointment does not work. It seems they over book on purpose, but no one cancels because she is so hard to get an appointment with. DON'T USE HER!
