Dr. Staci Hollar, MD

Dr. Hollar and her staff have been an invaluable partner as my siblings and I have navigated the challenges presented by an aging, and more dependent parent.

Very knowledgeable and took time to answer all my questions. Not rushed. Trust her opinion. Gave several scenarios for treatment. Treats patient and family very thoughtfully.

My parents, 100-years old and 94-years old, are both patients with Dr. Hollar at the Center for Healthy aging. Both have age-related issues and Dr. Hollar and her staff have provided invaluable, full-spectrum assessment and care over the past year, from assessment to testing to counseling and other services, including assistance to family and care givers. This holistic approach to care and the commitment, competence, and professionalism of Dr. Hollar means that Indiana has one of the few full-service age-focused centers in the country. With an aging population as well as the tendency for age-related problems to be multi-causal or linked to a variety of physical, brain, and other causes or symptoms, we need much greater emphasis on groundbreaking centers such as those of Dr. Hollar. Her assistance has helped us access a broad range of care options with Ascension, particularly at St. Vincent Hospital and the nearby Ascension medical practices (we are at St. Vincent right now for care).

Dr Hollar has been working with my husband over a year. He is very comfortable talking with her. We are both impressed how she explains medication and ideas on dealing with the aging process.

Dr Hollar made me feel at ease and very comfortable discussing a challenging situation with my mental health. Her approach demeanor were very comforting. I was very satisfied with my visit and the “next steps” she recommended. I would highly recommend her to anyone in a similar situation.
