Dr. Stacey Scheib, MD

Dr. Scheib was patient with me while discussing my history and concerns. She said she won't refer me along to another doctor, she's going to figure out what's causing my pain. She's the fourth doctor I've seen, so this was everything I needed to know about her. Her staff was amazing as well.

Dr. Scheib specializes in helping women with complex pelvic pain. She treated me with empathy and compassion and was extremely thorough in her assessment of my medical history and symptoms. Her staff are very professional and caring. Dr. Scheib is a highly skilled surgeon and I trusted her to perform my procedure. I couldn’t be more pleased with my outcome.

This doctor is careless and uncaring.She is rough with pelvic exams She ordered incorrect testsShe ordered a procedure then went wrong and caused me to be in severe pain for a monthWhen I talked to her about it she implied I was the problem and she showed no empathy whatsoever Please do not waste your time with herThere are plenty of OBGYNs who treat pelvic pain and are gentle, empathetic and accountable

I was a chronic pain patient of Dr Scheib,when she was at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore,MD. She is amazing! I felt like she really listened to me and she did solve my issues. I was so sorry to see her go to Louisiana, but I'm happy for her and for the women who are lucky enough to have her as their physician ?? if my pain ever returns, I would actually consider flying to LSU to see her, she's that good!

Worst doctor I have ever seen. Arrogant, superiority complex, rude. Said my only option was to have a full hysterectomy. When I asked why she wouldn’t explain, said she is the doctor and knows what is needed. I made an appt with a different gyn who told me surgery should be a last resort; suggested I go off the pill and see if I’m in menopause. I did and my issues (pain, bleeding, fibroids) went away and have been gone for 4 years. I am so grateful I had the mindset to not trust Dr. Scheib.

Dr Scheib helped diagnose a severe pain that I have been having for years with no clear answer. She thought outside the box and used new research to help treat a debilitating disease. While unfortunately there is no real treatment for what I have, I was at least able to understand what it is and finally get some relief from the pain. I owe her so much. I do agree that the wait time to see her is longer than average, but for me the benefits of seeing her outweighed that.

Dr. Scheib did a great . She did excellent job my surgery went smooth and I had a relatively quick recovery. The incision is most invisible. Thank you...... I feel so much better!

Dr Schieb was very confident and knowledgeable in the surgery that she performed for me. I was happy that she displayed this personality because I sure did not want anyone who was unsure of themselves because I was already scared enough. It was kinda hard to get in to see her. At the end of the day, everything went perfectly and I am glad I chose her

Difficult to get contact with and then totally arrogant with an attitude of superiority. Did not want to get treatment by a person that acts like that. I hope this Dr will in the future learn how to communicate better with patients.

I waited 8 months for my first appointment . When the day finally came, I waited over an hour in the back for her. She was pleasant and understanding. Her assistant was not as compassionate. The next appointment did not go as well. Although I did not have to wait as long gone this time, there was a huge miscommunication about medication and prescriptions via the Hopkins portal .Dr.Sheib's assistant is the contact person for Dr.Sheib,not the Dr. herself. I'm not thrilled about that either.

Horrible doctor who was too selfish to care about my disorder. Left me in room naked for 1 hour and 45 minutes. When she came in the room she had the most unprofessional demeanor I have ever seen.

There was nothing genuine about this Doctor. She came into the room 45 minutes late, did not apologize, she is very cold and made no eye contact. I would not recommend her at all, her scheduler is just as rude. Worst experience at such a well known hospital.
