I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Dr. Ariyan. Instead of thoroughly answering my questions, I was told to 'do my own research'—which is exactly why I was seeking medical expertise in the first place. When I asked about my diabetes prescriptions, I was simply told to have my primary care physician handle it, rather than receiving any meaningful guidance. The lack of support and unwillingness to provide clear answers made this a frustrating and unhelpful experience. I expect a doctor to be informative, engaged, and willing to help, but unfortunately, that was not the case here.

Avoid her at all costs if you value your health. She took me off a drug I felt that was helping and put me on one that really screwed me up. She was rude and had horrible bedside manner.

She is no longer my Dr. She has no interest in what you have to say. She isn't very friendly, comes into room serious looking, tells you about your blood work and walks out.

Her website showed that she took new patients. When I attempted to schedule an appointment as a new patient, I was declined because I had a previous doctor and my visit would therefore be a 2nd opinion. When I escalated, her office Supervisor Bryan, told me “she doesn’t want to contradict another endocrinologist in the valley. “ So basically they put politics before patient care. What new patient doesn’t have a previous doctor? To refuse to see someone due to personal preference of not rocking the boat with other doctors, is wrong. If every practice did this, patients would have no rights to choose their doctors. I explained I moved here from Ohio and took the first doctor that could see me soonest. After 4 years, I decided I wanted to change doctors. My right! To penalize me and do so for such a poor excuse really upsets me. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Arizona Medical Board.

Dr. Ariyan is very pleasant. I have been seeing her for almost 2 years, as she is monitoring nodules on my thyroid, as well as, a cyst near my pituitary gland. She is very professional & knowledgeable in her area of expertise. I would definitely recommend her for any endocrinology care or needs.

Sat on hold for over 16 minutes just to make an appt, talked to the doctor but never listened to me only spoke over me, waited 3 weeks for test results that had serious findings that should have been notified immediately about, then had Dr.Ariyan tell me my test were fine, it was AWFUL! I had to point out to her that she had the wrong patients test results because I had a copy of mine and they were NOT fine. She's very good at talking over you and at you but doesn't care what you have to say.
