Dr. Srinivas Rangu, MD

More than two decades ago in found Dr Rangu, he came highly recommended as a geriatric specialist. He gave us several more years with my sweet MIL. When it was time to stop treatment due to her age and declining health, he was honest and forthright with us. She passed away at 91. I began seeing him after she passed away, then my husband. Ten years ago, my parents began seeing him, last year he once again had to tell me it was time to stop. My sweet Daddy’s body was ready to go home, and we really appreciate his honesty, kindness, his dedication to our Daddy. De Rangu takes his time with his patients and listens to what they say. We were blessed to find him, and won’t ever be without him. Thanks Dr Rangu!

Dr. Rangu is an exceptional Dr. Who goes far beyond what other Dr's i have encountered do. Not only in a caring medical way but as a friend with expertise who tells you the truth no matter the situation in a professional yet humanly manner.. through his experience and his knowledge he really knows what's best!!! He has been my Dr. For over 15 years and without his extensive test and a knowledge of tell tell signs that most Dr's sometime ignore he basically saved my life, getting me into the hands of surgical and cancer specialist that if I wouldn't of, with his urgency, would probaly be crippled or dead! I truly believe if he hadn't expedited my care I would not of survived my cancer!! I will continue to see him as long as he practices! He is truly a natural great Dr. And guy..

Manages to stay pretty much on schedule. Has well defined objectives for your patient visit. Provides rationale and scheduling for your next appointment. His staff fine tunes future appointment times to meet my needs…..about as good as it can get! Excellent

I have been Dr Rangu’s patient for 20 years or more. He is always caring, professional, and knowledgeable. My most recent appointment led Dr Rangu to order an MRI for me. Dr Rangu showed genuine concern for my situation when he called to give me the results of my MRI. I was shocked to learn I need surgery but Dr Rangu was very reassuring. Dr Rangu’s staff cleared everything with my medical insurance provider and sent a referral to the orthopedic surgeon. This all took place quickly and efficiently. I trust Dr Rangu because he is genuinely interested in his patients’ health and well being. He has taken good care of me for more than 20 years.

After receiving treatment from Dr. Rangu for over 12 years, along with my parents for over 15 years as a very observant, caring, and engaging provider, after being ill this year, I received personal calls from him ensuring that I was continuously on the raid to recovery until I was completely healed up and back to living my life on the water and traveling. Peace of mind and trust cannot be bought; it’s earned. Dr. Rangu has exceeded my expectations and more than achieved that peace of mind that we all look for in a medical provider, no matter the injury or illness.

If anyone in my family was dying I would recommend Dr. Rangu. He will find the problem and get to the bottom of it. If he can’t fix it he will make sure to get you to some one who can. He’s caring and I love that he talks to his patients himself about their lab results!

Dr. Rangu started out as a good doctor. However, since his last nurse left (Christine) his office has gone down in staff friendliness. He has a new staff that treats patients VERY RUDE, and when you ask to speak to Dr. Rangu you are not allowed to or they say, "We will talk to him and call you back." When mentioning concerns to Dr. Rangu, he excuses it and says, "it because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, and everybody is having a hard time." Never thought Dr. Rangu would allow his staff to treat his patients this way, and I am appalled by it. Also, there have been so many rule changes, that the patients are not informed about, yet, it impacts their overall health. The Nursing staff and Dr. Rangu will MAKE YOU COME INTO THE OFFICE for an appointment when you are NOT even sick in order to get your medications refilled, so they are able to charge you for the visit and it shows. Dr. Rangu has a staff NOW that will make ALL his hard work as a physician suffer and his patients suffer.

I’ve been Dr Rangu’s patient for over 18 years. I have recommended him to family and friends every chance I get. In all the years I have never had a problem. My husband is also a long time patient. He is always concerned about us and one thing I really like is that he checks that we are current on our shots and yearly tests.

I chose Dr. S. Rangu to be my mother's geriatric specialist many yeas ago because he had more recommendations and degrees for geriatrics than anyone in this part of Texas. He took care of my mother for years before her death, and he has been my doctor for 14 years. I could not do without Dr. Rangu! My husband and son are also patients. We all love & appreciate him very much. Just to see his smiling face makes anyone feel better.
