Thorough visits. I initially saw Dr. Mukkera years ago after not getting any answers from 4 other specialists. Dr. Mukkera is caring, warm, and articulate. Every visit is satisfying. I never leave without my questions answered and feeling like I have been heard. I can't recommend him highly enough.

He's very nice, but even though he's a rheumologist, he doesn't treat fibromyalgia pain I have both fibro and osteoarthritis,along with degenerative disc disease, plus several broken bones that are still painful.wrist and all ankle bones. Also, he doesn't believe that percosets, etc. help with pain. He recommends advils, which cause my stomach to be acidic. All he did for me was to change my anti immflamatory meds from meloxicam to celebrex. My nurse practitioner could have done that. exercise!
