Pacemaker for 3rd degree heartblock
Dr. Sreekanth Karanam was an excellent doctor who saw me for 3rd degree heart block when my pulse dropped to 28 on May 31, 2024. My family took me into emergency care after having no energy for 4 days. Dr. Sree, as he prefers to be called, put in a pacemaker the next day. My energy was returned immediately. I went home the following day. I would highly recommend him for his thoroughness, ability to listen, and his technical knowledge. I have had one visit checkup by his pacemaker team member and one visit to him to check on the scar and check on how I was feeling. I would recommend him to my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Sreekanth Karanam for saving my life. Chris Landau

Considerate, Knowledgeable and Patient
Dr Karanam was very thorough during our Interview (my first visit with him). He explained the various treatments for AFib and then recommended the one he thought would have the best out come for me and quite honestly he recommended the one I was hoping for. He also took time to draw on a piece of paper describing how and where the procedure would be done in my heart. All the risk factors were well explained and ensured all necessary steps would be taken to avoid complications, leaving me well satisfied. I (and my wife) truly felt I was in good hands. I had been quite discouraged with the other docs in this arena, but not in the least with Dr Karanam . Would highly recommend Dr Karanam.

A doctor that cares
Well, no surprise that since the "Covid" rush, doctors and related personal are facing a more intense period (so are many of us "common mortal" patients as well). Related to the above, medical appointments usually feel like you are just a "15 minute" disturbance of their stressful day (also thanks to insurance companies and office administration...). This was my first time meeting Dr Karanam. I'm a person that believes a lot in my "gut" feeling. I liked him right away and still did after the visit. He took the time to explain my situation as in depth as I was able to follow. There was also a human side of the visit and I didn't feel that he was just in a hurry to move to the next one. Thank you Dr. Karanam for showing some personal care in addition to your professionalism.

Very good doctor. Only reason for less than perfect likelihood to recommend was two hour wait. This was quite possibly due to having a mid-afternoon appointment; the problem might be mitigated by scheduling morning appointments.
