Should not be practicing medicine!
This ‘doctor’ performed my c-section in under seven minutes, open to close. He sliced a nurses finger during the procedure and then proudly announced ‘that has to be a world record’. I have so much scar tissue inside that still fifteen years later I suffer tremendously due to his lack of compassion and carelessness. He is extremely rude, very dismissive and should absolutely be prohibited from practicing medicine.

Dismissive and Apathetic
If I could rate this doctor it would be zero stars!!! You hear about Physicians dismissing or disregarding his/her patients but when you experience it first hand it’s still mind blowing. My daughter who is 24 weeks pregnant, works TWO JOBS! You have to in order to survive in Travis County. That’s right survive!!!!! Anyway she has been having complications. She tried to explain that to Dr. Asfouri and he completely dismissed her complaints. He kept saying my paperwork shows you are ok. Mind you he only sees her ONCE PER MONTH! She has been having back, neck, and shoulder pain in addition to excruciating headaches. The stress of working is weighing on her. Her job said get a document of medical protection bring to us and we will help. Dr. Asfouri said NO did not even want to listen to her, INTERRUPTED HER while she was talking. NEWSFLASH DOCTORS: your job is to LISTEN FIRST!!!!!! and trea! Dr. Asfouri attitude was what she was PHYSICALLY FEELING DOESN’T MATTER

Concerned Mother for her Daughter – Dec 19, 2023

The worst doctor experience of my life. He was dismissive and treated me as if I were senile. The week before I had had a PAP smear from my family physician and it came back negative. When I told him that, he said he wanted to get another sample, then told his nurse (IN FRONT OF ME) to call my doctor and see what the results were. Then he snipped some tissue and said we could discard it if he didn't need it. He said he might have to take me into surgery and put me under to get some tissue to check for cancer. I kept thinking, "There's no way I'm letting this insensitive doctor operate on me. Get me out of here!" His nurse was super nice to me--he could have learned a little about having a good bedside manner from her.

Dr. Asfouri delivered our baby, is a skilled surgeon, and I feel safe in his hands. He is straightforward, compassionate, and smart. He and his office also respect patients' time and you never have to wait long to be examined.

Worst gyn experience of my life. Dr Asfouri was very rough, performed an unnecessary and invasive vaginal ultrasound even though I told him I had already had a hysterectomy. He was abrupt, no bedside manner, was impatient with my questions and dismissive of newer advances in the field including hormone replacement. The visit was supposed to be a well woman exam fully covered by my insurance but with all the unnecessary “extras” wound up costing me $200! FIND SOMEONE ELSE!

I went in for a routine check and had high hopes based on reviews, but unfortunately, my doubts were confirmed. Dr. Asfouri is the most insensitive and worst doctor I've ever visited. He spoke down to me as though I were a child and suggested that exercise is the solution to all my problems. He also pushed other forms of birth control on me despite me saying no multiple times. I did not feel comfortable with Dr. Asfouri and would never recommend him to anyone else.

This doctor almost killed my child & myself. I do not recommend him to anyone. I told the staff & doctor that I was very alarmed by the frequency of my trips to the bathroom. I was told to take some Pepto and was sent on my way. Two weeks later, still having the same issues, my concerns were again brushed off without any testing. That weekend I was hospitalized and diagnosed with C-diff. My daughter was born prematurely at 35 weeks. I spent another 2 weeks in the hospital. Lack of caring.
